Ways to Get Discounts for Orlando Area Attractions
The first thing you should know is that in Florida, it's illegal to sell partly-used multi-day attraction tickets. Never buy partially used tickets from any source. You just don't know what you are getting. It's also a good practice to avoid tickets sold on eBay, Craigslist or from any of the various used-ticket brokers operating in the Orlando and Kissimmee area. Use ticket vendors recommended on long-standing Disney information sites and communities when purchasing any attraction tickets and avoid all others. Most Disney communities have a long history with the reliable vendors and you will see those vendors mentioned often on forums, boards, and email lists. For each type of discount mentioned below, see individual attraction links for specific discount.
Ticket Brokers and Vendors
Orlando area attraction tickets are offered by a number of ticket brokers and vendors. Ticket brokers buy their passes in bulk and then pass the savings on. In many cases ticket broker prices are better than advance ticket prices bought directly through attraction web sites. When shopping for prices, just be sure to compare prices equivocally across the board. Check whether tax and/or shipping are included in the price before assuming one price is better than another. Most Orlando area vendors carry tickets for all of the most popular area attractions.
If you are in the Orlando vicinity and haven't purchased attraction tickets yet, discount tickets for major Florida theme parks and attractions are available at select Wal-Mart stores. Phone orders are not accepted. Tickets must be purchased in person at the store. The following discounted tickets are available:
Theme Parks: Universal Orlando, Sea World, Busch Gardens
Local Attractions: Kennedy Space Center, Wet-n-Wild, Gatorland
Dinner Shows: Arabian Nights, Sleuths Mystery, Pirates Dinner
The following Wal-Mart stores (among others) participate in the sale of discounted attraction tickets:

Timeshare Tours
A method for getting Free attraction tickets is to tour Orlando timeshares. This is not a method we are fond of, but some people do find this a worthwhile method of getting one-day attraction tickets. If time is flexible and one does not mind the high-pressure sales pitch, those interested can receive free attraction tickets to Universal Studios, Seaworld and more. Take a drive along Rte. 192 in Kissimmee. There are lots of signs for "free" or "discounted" tickets. Take only the tours offering Free admission (including tax). There should be no hidden fees. Ticket shoppers may be asked to pay a deposit (about $25), which will be refunded after the tour. Other vendors that work with Timeshare Resorts are 7-Elevens, and some Howard Johnson motels (check the lobby). Do not pay anyone cash for tickets or deposits, and leave your charge card and checkbook in your room when you go.
Credit Card Offers
Discounted theme park and attraction admissions are sometimes a perk for using a brand name credit card to purchase them. The best way to discover discounts offered by a credit card company is to visit the brand web page for the card (eg. mastercard.com) and the web sites of issuing banks.
