American Idol Passholder Previews were held February 7 and 8, 2009 at Disney Hollywood Studios. Here are some photos of the event.
Just inside the park entrance this sign was posted to let guests know that
auditions were being held for the show.
Outside the theater.

Several rules and disclaimers were posted outside of the theater.
Passholders who pre-registered were treated to a special preview of this new
attraction that is based on the hit TV show.
The Queue Area of the theater is pretty much the same, with the exception of the new
flat panel TVs. Clips from past American Idol winners were shown along with
some insight on what to except at The American Idol Experience.
Center Stage. To the left you can see a small seating area for the contestants,
to the right, the judges table.
Stage and audience.
After each of the contestants had preformed, the audience was asked to vote using the "Voting Pad" built in to arm rest of every-other seat. Audience members voted by selecting their favorite contestant's number using the row of numbers closest to them.
