Hello, this is Britnee! And yes I saw my grand picture, 'Brit Being Herself'
Yeah, haha. Anyway, I'm trying to get in the habit of writing trip reports, so
here goes.
Well, about the break of afternoon, our family (Me, DM, and D(No Disney! haha!
But you knew that..) piled into a '82 Dodge Ram and headed off to The Boardwalk.
I played my DS(Well, listened to the music off of a Treasure Planet game and a
Sims 2 DS game) to pass the about an hour trip. When we got there, we poured out of that little 2-seater truck and walked, and walked, and walked some more to
the Main Lobby. Up to the second floor we went, and waited a few minutes. The DM
called Barbara(I think) only to learn we were meeting in a breezeway. I don't
know why they call it a breezeway, THERE WAS NO BREEZE! LOL. Waiting for the
other MFLers to show up, I watched D play bowling on his phone, (Yeah not THAT
amusing to watch someone gets strikes.) then get out my DS again to play only to
learn that the moment I took it out everyone started.
First we played Pin the Tail on Duke JK. LOL We passed around pins, and I found out I WAS SUPPOSED TO START!! Why did no one tell me? lol. I won DM the pin of her dreams(Good, cuz I didn't like it. LOL.) and we found out that bringing a
plush was for a photo, not for trading. I sure wish DM would have known, bc then
I would have wanted to bring my very, very special first-beanie Cowboy Mickey.
(Sigh.) Anywho, after the picture, we headed off to that ESPN Club Cafe thing.
Urgh, the food was great but service is terrible. Also everyone now knows D's
favorite ESPN Story, The Case of the Missing Hot Dog. I also have a story, Case
of the Missing Ice Cream. Not really missing, but if it ever got there we were
already heading for MK. Barbara let us ride in her tiny red car. It was cool,
and getting in wasn't the problem, getting out was. Too long of a story to go
into. Anyway, after a short Tram/Mono ride, we found ourselves in the happiest
place on earth, The Magic Kingdom.
Ahh.. seeing the Castle towering above and feeling like an ant is the magic of
Disney. First, it's off to Tomorrowland on a request by Noah: TTA aka Blue
Line.(I call it the Blue Line. Long story.) Riding along, sharing pieces of
stories with another, and yelling "Don't Die!!" to the people on Space Mountain.
(Oh wait.. that was me. LOL) After we rode the escolater down, we wanted to do
Buzz. Ya know, get off of Blue Line and you feel like blastin' some robots'
bottoms, am I right? Too bad there was a line to Mexico and back. So off we went
to next door, the Laugh Floor, bc D REEEEAAAALLLLLYYYY wanted to do that.
Monsters is his favorite movie, and that dude watches it like crazy, and me and
DM sometimes watch it with him, he'll quote the entire movie while it's playing.
ANNOYING! lol. It was hilarious. My favorite was Marty Wazowski, he was cute. No
one else seemed to think that too for some reason.
Next up: Yoho, yoho a Pirates's life for me! This was the first time D saw
Pirates with Jack. He was impressed. After that I think we did Splash. By this
time, Noah and I were becoming really good friends. For some crazy reason, I
kept wanting to call him Josh. When I told him (After accidently calling him
Josh), He said that to call him Drake and he'll call me Josh. After realzing
why, I asked him was it like the show Drake and Josh, which I have come to love,
and he said yes. (Btw, he also likes Jimmy Neutron! :)) So if you guys heard me
calling him 'Drake' then now you know why. It was fun on Splash, my entire right
side (Which means in Noah's instance it was his entire left side.) got soaked.
But riding down that fifty foot mountain was fun at night.
Next up: Fireworks. Noah was growing impatient, he was very hungry. (Been there, done that, NOT FUN!) We watched the fireworks, then it was time to say goodbye. At first I thought Noah and Tracy were leaving and WE were staying until
midnight, but I obviously got mixed up. You saw the priceless(Barbara's Comment)
picture of my and Noah saying goodbye. I know most kids my age and aldults will
say they're little kids' best friends just to make them feel better. But I
really am best friends with Noah, that is one cool little dude.
