Although Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California has been offering Quinceañera celebrations informally since 2005, the Walt Disney World Resort will be the first to make it "official" and offer special packages to celebrate this coming of age for Latinas. This year Walt Disney World Resort will hold the first Disney's Royal Quinceañera Weekend.
Around Labor Day (August 29 - September 5, 2008) Walt Disney World Resort will be offering a weekend dedicated to celebrating the most magical time in a Latina's life, Quinceañera. For the first time, Epcot will help celebrate the passage from flat-soled shoes and dolls to high heels, elaborate gowns, and young womanhood of 15. Every young woman will walk in to a breathtaking ball held in her honor and into a world of princesses, beauty and enchantment that only Disney can create, capped by a private viewing of the fireworks spectacular "IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth".
For this special weekend, Walt Disney World Resort has created a Quinceañera event package. The young lady and her closest friends can enjoy a wonderful family vacation and be transported to another world for an evening of celebration and splendor at an incredible Quinceañera party.
This unique package includes:
- Accommodations at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort
- Admission to the Royal Quinceañera Celebration
on August 30, 2008
- Reception 5:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
- Main event 6:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m.
- Private fireworks viewing of "IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth"
- Transportation to and from Disney's Coronado Springs Resort and The Event
- (1) 8x10 Portrait of each Quinceañera
- pictures will be mailed to each individual's home 2 weeks after the event

Year Round Quinceañera Packages
In addition to the special weekend, Walt Disney World Resort offers Quinceañera Packages year-round which include everything from Disney-style entertainment and food-and-beverage to fairy tale linens and specially designed centerpieces. The young lady can choose from three packages or create her own event:
- A Reflection of You (Un Reflejo de Ti) -- Your Quinceañera in the midst of the world's most spectacular fireworks displays; "IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth" at Epcot. Here the quince girl and her closest friends will enjoy decadent desserts while experiencing Disney's premier nighttime spectacular in a private setting overlooking majestic World Showcase Lagoon. Guests will be captivated by the magical merging of eleven different cultures from around the globe in this unique setting for the ultimate Quinceañera gathering, starting at $1,800.
- Dancing with a Star (Bailando con una Estrella) -- Your Quinceañera celebration dazzles at a special location of your choice with a hip, multilingual DJ spinning the latest tunes. With a variety of delicious menu options available, this Quinceañera party can be either reception-style or light buffet dinner with talented Disney chefs preparing an unforgettable meal for the group, at a starting price of $6,900.
- Belle of the Ball (La Bella del Baile) --A Quinceañera dream-come-true, when she becomes princess of this majestic ball. Trees lavished with twinkle lights, floor-length linens pixie dusted with organza, chair covers with sash, artistic centerpieces at the tables, tiered cake, photography, and other elements will make the dining and dancing guests feel like they are in a true royal gathering. Available to groups of 100 or more celebrants, Belle of the Ball is priced starting at $20,000.
This traditional ceremony of the Quinceañera can be enhanced by a Cinderella Castle façade, storybook entrance, horse-drawn carriage and favorite Disney characters.
