Who: Disneydedes family

Where: Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue

When: Oct 30, 08

What: preplated meal and dinner show. they gave us salad, cornbread. then ribs, fried chicken, mashed potatoes, beans, strawberry shortcake. and all the soda or wine you wanted. Served family style. they would bring more if you wanted.

Approximate Price of Entrees: $50.00 + per person

Rate the following (1-5, five being the best!)
Food: 4
Service: 4
Atmosphere:
Okay for Children: excellent for children corny show.. they seemed to enjoy
Okay for Couples: yes fun for couples too
Be Sure to Try: I wasnt crazy over the ribs but liked the chicken and mashed potatoes.

General tips: we sat on the first floor because I had a scooter. I think you would be better off in tier two towards the back on floor one as some of the action is halfway back and the front section would have to turn around

Extra Comments: if you are coming here by bus plan plenty of extra time. we left epcot at 4, for our 5 pm reservation.. had to switch busses in fort wilderness. then the bus driver forgot to let us off and we ended up going thru the whole campground, never got there til almost 5:30. luckily we didnt miss much but one song. they had already served the salad and cornbread, and the other people were eating the entrees, but we caught up okay.So my comment would be plan twice as long to get there if you are going by bus, as you expect. I found out the same thing with downtown disney.

Who: Aurelio's

Where: Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue

When: February 2008

What: The meal consisted of buckets of food! Fried chicken, b-b-q ribs, salad, baked beans, and strawberry shortcake.

Approximate Price of Entrees: $50.00 + per person

Rate the following (1-5, five being the best!)
Food: 5
Service: 5 - Our server was top notch
Atmosphere: 5
Okay for Children: Yes, my kids love it there.
Okay for Couples: Yes
Be Sure to Try: Yes, my kids love it there.

General tips: Spend the extra money and sit on the "floor" level. Even though, the performers mingled in the balcony, you received more attention on the "floor".

TheMouseForLess tips: My children are a little picky. They made a comment in front of our server about why they couldn't have macaroni and cheese (their favorite). Five minutes later our server came out with two bowls of mac and cheese and asked the boys if they wanted anything else, like chicken nuggets! The servers were all friendly and couldn't do enough to please everyone!

Extra Comments: I am 34 years old and have been going to Disney World since the late 70's. I now have a family of my own and it's the best taking them there and seeing their faces. I have gone to the Hoop-de-doo every trip I have been to Disney and it's wonderful. My kids love the washboards and the noise, my husband loves the food, and my whole family loves eating there together.

Who: Judy NYC

Where: Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue

When: August, 2005

What: Dinner show

Approximate Price of Entrees: $40.33 10 and older, $20.42 10 and under (before tax and tip) (we used 6 table services)

Rate the following (1-5, five being the best!)
Food: 3 - The food was okay. I love strawberry shortcake but did not care for the one here, the strawberries were cold and the sauce was too thick. The chicken was good, they have the best dinner bread
Service: 5 - Our server was top notch
Atmosphere: 5 - This place was worth every penny just for the atmosphere, the entertainment was great.
Okay for Children: Yes - DD(9) and DS(14) talked about this on the entire trip and loved it
Okay for Couples: Yes
Be Sure to Try: The bread and the chicken

General tips: We were seated on the second level and this provided a wonderful view of the everything. I think this is the best view, because you are able to easily see the stuff that goes on the second level as well as everything on the first without having to stretch your neck. We were seated in the center behind the guy who handles the spotlight so we had the perfect view of the stage

TheMouseForLess tips: If you are on the meal plan (especially if you get the meal plan free like i did) do this show

Extra Comments: Our total cost for 2 adults and one child with tax and tip would have been $125.55 ($80.66 For 2 adults, $20.42 For 1 child, $18.19 Gratuity, $6.58 Tax) We used two sit down meals to cover this and it was well worth it

Who: The Nowak's - Bob & Joanie, Marie & Mike

Where: Hoop-De-Doo - Pioneer Hall - Fort Wildnerness Camp Ground

When: Tuesday - March 9, 2004

What: Dinner

Approximate Price of Entrees: 4 adults - $156.84 which included tax and tip (We received a discount on this - the original price was $196.01 but I can't remember now if it was for DVC or having an annual pass)

Rate the following (1-5, five being the best!)
Food: 5
Service: 5
Atmosphere:
Okay for Children: Yes, definitely
Okay for Couples: Yes
Be Sure to Try: All of the food was excellent but I would pay for this just to have their bread and butter.

General tips: This is served family style all you can eat - fried chicken, barbequed ribs, salad, baked beans, corn, bread and sweet butter and strawberry shortcake for dessert.

Dollarless tips: All you can eat!

Extra Comments: This show is corny but the actors are great and we never tire of it.
