Who: The Skamarakas Family (Mom, DD Brighid age 14; DD Eilis age 5; DD Granuaile age 1)

Where: The Flatbread Grill Disney MGM Studios (used to be the Studio Catering Company by the Honey I Shrunk the Kids Playground)

When: April 17, 2006

What: Lunch - Pulled pork BBQ sandwich; Grilled Chicken Caesar Wrap; Kids chicken leg with rice and beans; kids PB&J meal

Approximate Price of Entrees: The pork sub and the wrap were about $6.50 and the kids meals were $3.99 and included drinks

Rate the following (1-5, five being the best!)
Food: 5
Service: 3 - very slow counter service
Atmosphere: 3 - none really
Okay for Children: yes - nothing special, but outdoors and loud, so no need to worry about restless little ones
Okay for Couples: yes - although nothing romantic. I will say though, having an older child, I could have sent her with the little ones into the playground and had a nice meal with my hubby, but he was back at the hotel sick.
Be Sure to Try: The pulled pork sandwich was tasty and the bread was good

General tips: All of the tables here are outside, but they do have fans blowing and it was pretty comfortable on this low 90's temperature day. We were surprised at how busy it was - you should go during an off hour. We went at 2, and we were lucky to get a table. It was Easter week, so the park was busy.

Dollarless tips: f you are not a big eater, the kids meals were really nice sized. The one had a chicken leg, a good portion of rice and beans, and a drink. The other was an Uncrustable sandwich with applesauce and goldfish crackers and a drink. Definitely cheaper than a full meal for a grown up. Neither the wrap or the sub came with any "sides", so for the $6.50, you only get the sandwich.

Extra Comments: I am so glad there is a restaurant here! We have stopped here for cold drinks when it was the Studio Catering Company, but they never had any substantial food.
I feel like it was a bit pricey for what we got - the sandwich and wrap could have come with a few chips or grapes or something.
