Who: Winters Family
Where: Tutto Italia
When: Friday, March 13 2009
What: Dinner for 3 adults and 2 children on the Dining Plan
we started with the Fresh "Bufala" Mozzarella appetizer (not on the DDP)- very good.
DH had the Bucatini Gratinati- with Italian Prosciutto ham, peas, and parmesan cream (hold the peas) and enjoyed every bit of it. MIL and I both had Tagliatelle Alla Primavera-egg pasta, zucchini broccoli, peas, mushrooms, tomatoes, in a creamy sauce. The creamy sauce was more of an alfredo type sauce and I while I really liked it, MIL did not care for it as she does not like cheese. Our waiter offered to bring her something else but she declined.
Kids both had spaghetti and meatballs. Large portions for them (my DS, age 5, has a big appetite and this was just the right amount for him). For dessert I had the chocolate hazelnut torte- delicious. I can't remember what everyone else had.
Approximate Price of Entrees: 5 table service credits, plus appetizer, beer, wine and tip

Okay for Children: Yes- our waiter was very good about special requests for spaghetti sauce on the side for DS
Okay for Couples: Yes, just don't expect a quiet dinner, the restaurant is noisy.
Be Sure to Try: Tagliatelle Alla Primavera; Chocolate Hazelnut Torte
The Mouse For Less Tip: Large portions, good value on the Disney Dining Plan.

Food: 2 Sorry, I know lots of people love the food here but both my husband
and myself feel the Italian food here at home is much better. Some of this
decision is due to the Alfredo sauce being made with a butter base vs. cream
base like here at home.
Service: 5
Atmosphere: 5
Okay for Children: Yes, my son loves the theming in the restaurants.
Okay for Couples: Yes, the atmosphere can be very romantic.
Be Sure to Try: The dessert Spuma Di Cioccolata was excellent.
General tips: The tables along the wall are very close together leaving no
personal space between you and the people next to you to avoid this ask for
a table in the center of the room.
TheMouseForLess tips: My son and I split a meal and were both full at the end of the meal. This may not work if you are a bigger eater or don't order an
appetizer and/or dessert.
Extra Comments: Don't be afraid to go here just for the dessert and the
atmosphere. If you love butter try the fettuccini alfredo you will love it.

Atmosphere: Well, where do you start? Have you seen the waiters here?
They make the trip worthwhile!! It's very pretty inside, but not stuffy.
Okay for Children: yes
Okay for Couples: yes
Be Sure to Try: The antipasto.I had the pork for my main course which
was so tender you didn't need a knife!! They give you olive oil for your
bread so don't look for butter
General tips: It seems to be very popular at night. Make sure you have
ADR's! The lunch crowd is lighter. Pay attention to the waiters!
You'll understand once you see them : )
TheMouseForLess tips: We used the DDE card and saved over $25. If you're on the
dining plan this place will give you the best value for your money.
Extra Comments: The service is fantastic! Your water glass never goes
down. And did I mention the waiters? They are true Italian men!! We go
here every trip. I tell them it's for the food. Little do they really
know. I think my daughter caught on this trip though.....
