Who: Frank and Amy Thornotn
Where: Old Port Royale food court
When: May 2008
What: lunch, snacks:
• chicken ceasar salad (my Disney standard)
• some kind of sandwich and home made chips from the pizza place, which
my husband had twice and loved
• fruit of all kinds
Approximate Price of Entrees: Caesar Salad is around $7 and the
sandwich and chips was about the same

Atmosphere: 4/5
Okay for Children: yes, it would be fine for kids.
Okay for Couples: its fine and most of the time it was quiet
while we were there, but its not romantic at all.
Be Sure to Try: Caesar Salad - they packed the bowl and you could
split it between you for an appetizer salad. The sandwich that my dh
got was excellent too and the bread was very good.
General tips: several of the "stations" are not open for lunch, so
make sure you check out the hours before you plan your meals here
Dollarless tips: If you have a refillable mug you should still get a
drink, water or juice for breakfast (or any meal where you use your
DDP credits) and save them for later in the park. Dessert is the
same, you can get many of the snack options and save them for later.
Extra Comments: Stop in the bar area and watch the wonderful
entertainment!! It wasnt an adult type atmosphere, it was a really
fun family sing along type thing with a piano player whos piano moved
on its own!!
Who: Marissa and Rory Rusinek
Where: Old Port Royale Food Court (Caribbean Beach Resort)
When: May 2001
What: Various meals--primarily breakfast and late night snacks
Approximate Price of Entrees: $5-6
Rate the following (1-5, five being the best!)
Food: 3
Service: 2
Atmosphere:
Okay for Children: Yes, lots of seats and a big screen TV for cartoons
Okay for Couples: Yes, but only for a quick bite to eat
Be Sure to Try: The personal pizzas. We got them almost every night after we got back from the parks. Nothing special, but a great late night snack.
General tips: Not the place to be if you want someplace quiet. It was almost always crowded, but then what do expect from the resort food court?
Dollarless tips: Everything was pretty inexpensive.
Extra Comments: As far as food courts go, this one is pretty good. We never lingered very long, but it was very convenient for the quick meals we grabbed there. We were always too eager to get to the parks in the morning
to want to stay at our resort very long! =)
