Food: 4
Service: 2
Atmosphere: 5
Okay for Children: Yes - but the KIDS MEALS ARE HUGE
Okay for Couples: Sure
Be Sure to Try: We really liked the nachos. Just enough, not too
big of a dish. OK to split for a snack.
General tips: Be prepared to wait because the line moves slowly
TheMouseForLess tips: Smaller kids can share a kids meal. Large
portions for kids. The churros are excellent.
Extra Comments: They have beer and margaritas - I've had the marg
before and it wasn't worth $9.
Who: Jen and Lisa
Where: Cantina de San Angel - counter service, Mexico, Epcot
When: 5/1/2006
What: 5/1/2006
Approximate Price of Entrees: $23.96
Rate the following (1-5, five being the best!)
Food: 4
Service: 4
Atmosphere: 5
Okay for Children: Yes, seating is outside
Okay for Couples: Yes, but not really romantic, unless you hit it at a
quiet time and get a table in the back by the water.
Be Sure to Try: We like the food here...we've always loved the nachos but
for once decided to mix it up a bit and got the wet burrito. It's pretty
good, but we still prefer the nachos! Plus the serving sizes here are
pretty large and can be shared (and I'm a bit eater!), especially if you
are "snacking" your way around the World :)
General tips: Mexico is always our first stop around the World and even
though we usually get her pretty much right at 11am, there is almost always
a line, but the tables are usually empty at this time. You may have to wait
a couple extra minutes, as they are still making the food and, depending on
what you order, it may not be sitting there waiting for someone to grab.
It's a great stop for our first break of the day.
TheMouseForLess tips: Depending on how hungry you are, the portions on the wet
burrito are fairly large and can easily be shared, unless this is going to
be your meal to last you a while. The nachos can be shared too.
Extra Comments: Since I've never really had "authentic" Mexican, I can't
vouch for that, but we really love the food here. It's always filling and
very tasty...and we LOVE the margaritas!! Expensive yes, but well worth it.
We also enjoy the churros, though we didn't have any this trip.

Food: 4
Service: 3 (counter service)
Atmosphere: 3
Okay for Children: Yes
Okay for Couples: Yes
Be Sure to Try: The Ensalada Mexicana was our favorite choice here.
General tips: This restaurant has an outdoor seating area, with some nice
views of World Showcase. We really enjoyed eating our meal and just looking
across the water.
TheMouseForLess tips: The portions here are incredibly large!! We had way too
much food, and really wished we had ordered about half. (Our eyes were
definitely bigger than our stomachs this day.) Next time we'll order 2 items for the 4 of us to share.
Extra Comments: We really enjoyed eating here, and plan to do so again next
trip. Just be careful if it's windy - everything was trying to blow away!
