Burger ($10)
Nachos ($15)

Approximate Price of Entrees: $48.20

Rate the following (1-5, five being the best!)
Food: 3 - For the price you paid you would expect a little more put into it.
Service: 3 - Didnt really act like the server wanted to be there
Atmosphere: 4 - Meteor shower is fun the first time - VERY loud
Okay for Children: Depends - If they dont like loud noises and flashing lights, DO NOT GO HERE.
Okay for Couples: More directed towards pre-teens
Be Sure to Try: More directed towards pre-teens

General tips: Dont expect to carry on a conversation in this place. VERY LOUD. Cool concept but just too darn expensive. Does not take Dining Plan (at least not when we went)

Extra Comments: Like most other properties like this, it has a gift shop.

Who: The Thornton Family

Where: T Rex in DTD

When: October 24, 2008

What: Lunch We ordered the Artifact Stack (onion rings) for appetizers. 1 Omnivores Delight salad, 1 lava tomato basil soup, 1 fire roasted rotisseire chicken, 1 T Rexadilla and 1 chocolate extinction.

The onion rings were a little disappointing in the size of the serving and the onion rings themselves. The salad was excellent and plenty large enough, the chicken was mediocre and the veggies were not great at all, the TRexadilla was excellent (but how bad can a quesadilla be ?). The tomato soup was VERY strong, it wasnt bad, but it made a much better dipper for bread or quesadilla than soup. The chocolate extinction was unebelievable!! My dd and dh didnt even seem to put a dent in it!! It was family size, but it was delicious and I would go back for this, but not necessarily any of other the other food

Approximate Price of Entrees: The total was around $100 for the 3 of us.

Rate the following (1-5, five being the best!)
Food: 3
Service: 5
Atmosphere: 5+ its really cool!!!
Okay for Children: Yes
Okay for Couples: Yes, not in romantic sense, but its fun.
Be Sure to Try: Chocolate Extinction

General tips: We didnt sit in the ice cave, but were just outside the door and it was cool. We were by the mammoths and it was an excellent spot, we could see the other rooms around us.

TheMouseForLess tips: Not aware of any way to save money here, just be prepared to shell out the dough when you get there.

Extra Comments: We went around 2PM and only waited 10 minutes for a party of 3. Dont miss the Build A Dino!! My dd (17) built one and loved it. She is a big Build a Bear fan and this was a cute addition to her collection.
