Who: Thiel, Me (42), DH (48),DD (16) & DDBF (15)

Where: House of Blues, DTD

When: February 2006

What: Dinner, Jambalya $17, Steak Salad $14, Spicy Chicken Penne $12, Gumbo $6, Skillet Cornbread $5

Approximate Price of Entrees: around $80 plus tip

Rate the following (1-5, five being the best!)
Food: 5+
Service: 5
Atmosphere: 5+
Okay for Children: yes
Okay for Couples: definitely, usually live entertainment on the weekends.
Be Sure to Try: Gumbo, Jambalya, any appetizer, it's all good.

General tips: we have never needed ADR, we go for lunch and dinner many times during our visits, we actually we staying at the Hark Rock Hotel, and drove over to have dinner. The wait has never been more than an hour (usually less than 20 minutes) and there is so much to see, we never mind the wait, it is always worth it.

Dollarless tips: the portions are large, so my DD & I, usually share an appetizer and an entree, gotta leave room for dessert!

Extra Comments: Do not get discouraged if you see very lon lines out front, if there is a show at the venue, the line is directly in front of the restaurant, so simply say "excuse me",walk through and onto the porch to give you name.
