Okay for Couples: Yes
Be Sure to Try: If you like RARE roast beef - this is the place to go! DH and I argue that each of our sandwiches were better than the other!!!!
General tips: very busy on a Saturday night!
TheMouseForLess tips: could have split my meal with DS or shared his meal
Extra Comments: Don't all wait in line! Have one adult order and the other scope out a table on these busy nights. Oh, and if you like "Arnold Palmers" (iced tea and lemonade) be sure to try the Earl's Grey Lemonade.
Who: The Hicks FamilyÑMe, DH, DD 5
Where: Earl of Sandwich
When: August 14, 2005
What: Counter Service Dinner (7pm)
Approximate Price of Entrees: $26.00 for The Earl's Club, The Full Montagu, the Kids Grilled Cheese, 2 drinks, and 3 cookies. This was on the Dining Plan. We paid extra to get chips and DH really wanted a brownie, which wasn't included on the Dining Plan. So those items were an additional $6.00

Food: 4
Service: 2.5 Long wait
Atmosphere: 2.5 Crowded and loud
Okay for Children: Yes
Okay for Couples: Yes
Be Sure to Try: The cookies are huge! Munching on the brownie later
was a nice treat. The bread was very tasty.
TheMouseForLess tips: If you are not a hearty eater, then sharing a
sandwich is possible.
Extra Comments: We may have enjoyed this more if it wasn't so late
in the evening. We had enough of the crowds by 7pm that day.

Okay for Children: Yes
Okay for Couples: Yes
Be Sure to Try: The sandwiches were all very good. You cannot go wrong here with any choice.
General tips: The bread is quite tasty Ð not your average Subway or Blimpie kind of sandwich. The sides are priced just right and are just enough to add to the sandwich.
TheMouseForLess tips: For $4.95, you have a really nice sandwich. If youÕre not horribly famished, two could share a sandwich and a couple of sides. It is a nice change of pace from hamburgers, hot dogs and/or chicken nuggets.
Extra Comments: This is a counter service restaurant and even though the line may seem overwhelming at first, the line does move fairly quickly and I would never hesitate to stand in line to eat here. The only drawback may be finding a place to sit at inside. But there are tables outside and with the overhead fans blasting away, it wasnÕt too unpleasant to sit outside and eat our meal.
Who: Savela Family: Me, DH, Matt, Steph, MIL and niece
Where: Earl of Sandwich in Downtown Disney
When: 4/29/04
What: Sandwiches for Lunch) The Original, Cannonballs, Full
Montagu, Earl's Club, Caribbean Jerk Chicken
Approximate Price of Entrees: approx. $7.50 per person including
drinks
Rate the following (1-5, five being the best!)
Food: 4
Service: 3
Atmosphere: 3
Okay for Children: Yes
Okay for Couples: Yes (although nothing romantic)
Be Sure to Try: Everyone really enjoyed their sandwiches...very
tasty sauces and the bread/rolls were great
General tips: Let one or two people order while the others get a
table. It got very crowded at lunchtime.
Dollarless tips: The sandwiches were large. I'm sure that with chips
or fruit, 2 can split a sandwich. My children split the meatball
sandwich and there was plenty leftover.
Extra Comments: If you can overlook the bit of chaos that comes with
ordering and waiting for your sandwiches during the lunch rush, this
is a great place for lunch.
