roasted shrimp. Desserts included a big river brownie and ice cream, and tofutti for dd.

General tips: I suggest a reservation if at all possible.
TheMouseForLess tips: Share portions if your family is willing. Mine, not
so much.
Extra Comments: I had Christmas Day reservations for breakfast this morning and had yet another run-in with the staff. They insisted I didn't have a reservation. I walked over to the dining desk in the lobby and a very nice lady printed out my reservation for me. Took it back to show it to her, but she was in the middle of arguing with a man that his family had already been seated. He preceded to tell her that his family was over in the bar, and she pointed to a family over at a table saying "no, your family is over there." He told the lady over and over "that is not my family." To which she replied "yes it is, they are over there." Of course this was not the man's family. I think the
man would know his own family! After that was cleared up. We were seated by a not so friendly staff member who seemed upset that we did indeed have a reservation. No apology was given for overlooking the reservation. Just a huffy and unfriendly seating. Olga, Barbara, and a man ( I think his name was Eduardo), need to retake the Disney classes on courtesy and friendliness to guests. Never argue with a guest about the members of their own family. Or better yet, never argue with a guest period! Also apologizing when a mistake is made goes a long way.
Who: Jen and Lisa
Where: Boatwrights
When: Friday, 2/21/04
What: Breakfast - Breakfast Calabash, Biscuits with Sausage Gravy, Banana Stuffed French Toast, Coffee for two, OJ
Approximate Price of Entrees: $27
Rate the following (1-5, five being the best!)
Food: 5
Service: 4 (she was a little slow but it was very very crowded!)
Atmosphere:
Okay for Children: Yes
Okay for Couples: Yes
Be Sure to Try: All of it was excellent but the banana stuffed
French toast, with strawberry-banana sauce was out of this world
delicious!!
General tips: I suggest PS for this...we didn't and ended up waiting
about 30 minutes for a table, but the wait was well worth it!
Dollarless tips: The portions are HUGE...of course we ordered three
things and shared it just between two of us and there was plenty
left of all three for another person, maybe two. I hated leaving any
of the french toast! You easily could order a couple things from the
menu and share among a group.
Extra Comments: he orange juice was wonderful here...not sure if it's different from other locations or even what kind it is but it was yummy.
I was hesitant to have the strawberry-banana sauce on my french toast, but I'm so glad I did...it helped cut the sweetness a bit...
Excellent dining experience over all!
