Who: Dunn Family (Jason - 32, Leslie Ann - 37, Charles - 4 and Maddie - 2)

Where: Breakfastosaurus with Donald (Animal Kingdom)

When: Thursday 3/9/06

What: Breakfast - character buffet with Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Chip inside DinoLand in AK

Approximate Price of Entrees: $50

Rate the following (1-5, five being the best!)
Food: 4
Service: 5
Atmosphere: 5
Okay for Children: Absolutely!
Okay for Couples: Yes!
Be Sure to Try: Breakfast pizza; quiche (awesome!). No made-to-order omelettes

General tips: Okay - here is the deal. Do this ONLY if you are getting the 8 a.m. ressies. I got this tip from the list and decided to try it out this trip - this was a MAJOR plus. We were put into the park an hour before it opened, and we finished eating right at 9 (park opening time) and we were already inside the park and near attractions so we had a big leg up. However - we were late for our ressies. Definitely add on 30 minutes travel time to park, wait in line to get into AK (before it opens) and walk to the restaurant, which is in DinoLand.
Also - this is a big plus - when we finished at 9 a.m., hubby ran to go ride Everest and it had a 5 minute wait!!! He got 3 fastpasses for 30 mins later (using our tix and 4 year old son's tix) and came back... while he was gone I took both kids on Triceratop Spin and we rode it EIGHT times without getting off! The kids loved it. We could've stayed on it, but I thought they needed a rest. When he came back, I went on Primeval Whirl (again, folks were riding it over and over without getting off) and he took the kids on the Spin again and when I finished he rode Primeval Whirl. We then left and went to Everest, and we took turns riding it to use the 3 fastpasses. Then - we went to the Safari and got fastpasses for 30 minutes later... waited in 20 minute line and rode it, then got out and went on again with fastpasses.
At this time it was 11:45 a.m., and we decided to leave so the kids could nap - as we were leaving we were facing TONS OF CROWDS COMING IN. So - the moral here, is that because we did Restaurantosaurus, in like 3 hours we got to ride Triceratops Spin like 10x, Expedition Everest 4x, Primeval Whirl 2x, and Kilimanjaro Safaris 2x - and keep in mind that we have a 2 and a 4 year old in tow. This is DEFINITELY the way to do AK in the future.

Extra Comments: Use DDE card to save 20% - we usually tip the amount saved Extra Comments: They seat rooms at once, so you basically have to sit and wait for your room to be seated

Okay for Children: Yes, what kid doesn't love the characters and the waiters played all kinds of tricks on us.
Okay for Couples: Yes don't we all love the characters. Not romantic but who needs a romantic breakfast?
Be Sure to Try: Everything was great and they even had crispy cream donuts. YUM

General tips: Get seating first thing in the morning and then wait in line for Dinosaur to be the first on. The first family gets a special tour and their own vehicle while they tell the others waiting that they sent them in to feed to the dinosaurs so they were not hungry when we got in. lol

TheMouseForLess tips: All you can eat and one of the least expensive breakfasts with characters how can you get better than that.

Extra Comments: This is the one breakfast that we will do again on our next trip.

Be Sure to Try: The breakfast foods were well prepared and fresh. General tips: We arrived before the park opened. It was a long walk from the gate.

TheMouseForLess tips: I can't say enough about the Dining Plan. We are a family that prefers sitting to eat and character meals. The Dining Plan is the only way to go in this case!

Extra Comments: We stayed at Wilderness Lodge and it is a long bus ride to Animal Kingdom. We were lucky enough to get a driver that changed his route to take us directly there so we wouldn't be late. Be sure to take the earliest but possible.

Food: 5
Service: 5
