Don't Miss: The lobby at the villas has some wonderful sitting areas with fireplaces. I actually made a point to spend some time here with a good book. Also take some time to walk around the resort at night. It is so pretty, and the waterfall is lit up ;) There is a path that goes from the Wilderness Lodge to Ft. Wilderness. It is such a nice walk and really nice to see a less busy side of Disney World.

Room Location Suggestion: The Villas at Wilderness Lodge are small so even the furthest room is not going to be too far. We have never stayed in a bad room.

The Mouse For Less Tip: Because all rooms have a kitchen or kitchenette you could save some money by having breakfast in your room. Your refrigerator is also a great place to store water bottles and other snacks. Also, make reservations early as rooms at the Wilderness Lodge Villa can go fast.

Comments: The Wilderness Lodge Villas are actually connected to the Wilderness Lodge by a covered walkway. You get the extra space of a villa connected to the amenities of a full service resort. It also is just a beautiful setting, and one my of favorite Disney resorts.

The Mouse For Less Tip: Refillable mug. Also the snack bar is being completely redone. Instead of getting a drink in the lounge, grab a beer from the fridge in the mercantile. Ask at the front desk for HThis is a magical resort, and if you stay here, take the time to enjoy the ambiance by sitting in one of the rockers in the lobby and watch the families go by.
