Name Of Resort: Pop Century Resort
Date Of Stay: early Oct., 2006
Type Of Resort: Disney Value
Rate Paid During Your Stay: Not sure! LOL I booked a package through magicforless so I'm sure I got a good deal!
Room Sleeps : 4 (but it was nice to only have to fit 2!
Please Rate The Following On A Scale From 1-10 (10 being the best):
Theming: 10
Room Size: 7 but fine... we knew it would be small.
Amenities: 9
Quality: 8
Cleanliness: 5 (our sheets were "stained" and we needed replacements the first night... we called at about 5pm before we headed out and at 11pm when we returned, they still had not been replaced. We had to call and wait another hour or so and then remake the beds ourselves.)
Transportation: 9 (seemed quite quick and easy!)
Recreation: Pools were nice but we only swam once
Value: 9
Over All Rating: 8 (would def. use again, though I'd love to try something a bit fancier!)
Don't Miss: Food was quite good.
Room Location Suggestion: We were in the 50's building and were very happy.
The Mouse For Less Tip:
Comments: Nothing fancy, but perfectly fine. Our family would much rather stay on site in a value resort than save the money and stay off site. My son and I are headed back in Sept. and will be staying at All Star Sports.

Don't Miss: This is a fabulous resort for the family friendly. The
icons area a walk down memory lane, in addition to the actual walk
through Memory Lane.
Room Location Suggestion: Stayed in the 60's building. Paid for a
preferred, expecting a preferred 'view' not location. It was a quiet
area, opposite side of pool. We hope to stay on the lake side this
August.
The Mouse For Less Tip: As all resort, the refillable mugs are the
greatest savings for anyone who likes to drink (coffee, soda, juice,
tea, etc). I am a water drinker, so only hubby got a mug, but used
it so much.
Comments: This is a family friendly resort, there may be noise at times, but expecting some with lots of kids nearby. Take in the sights, enjoy the views and just enjoy the resort.

Don't Miss: Walk around Hourglass lake is relaxing and informative,
with year-specific highlight signs along the trail. Good views of the
different icons on the fringe of the hotel.
Room Location Suggestion: 60'S for easy access to transportation and
main bldg.
The Mouse For Less Tip: Offers the benefits of staying on-property
without too much strain on the budget.
Comments: This was our third stay at the Pop, and while we have enjoyed it, we're looking to upgrade to at least a Moderate next time. On this trip, Pop was just about sold out and and the pool area, restaurant, and bus stops were very crowded. Pop serves it's purpose for those all-day park commandos, but is not very relaxing in itself. We had a pool view room, and there was much activity outside during the overnight hours...not that I mind, most of the activity outside didn't keep us awake...but I think we're looking for something a bit more quiet in the future.
