Resort: Blue Tree Resort at Lake Buena Vista
Date Of Your Stay: April 26, 2008
Type Of Resort: Off Property Condo
Rate Paid During Your Stay: $69 from Hotwire
Room Sleeps : 6
Please Rate The Following On A Scale From 1-10 (10 being the best):
Theming: 2, doesnt really have a theme I dont think.
Room Size: 10 This was a really nice room for the price.
Amenities: Pools, playroom for the kids, small mini golf course, hot tub, fitness center, arcade, laundry, small convenience store, each room has kitchen and laundry facilities.
Quality: the rooms were a 10, the facility itself though was not as nice. I would give the resort a 7, maybe an 8.
Cleanliness: Again the rooms were 10, but the resort as a whold probably 8, maybe 9. I dont think it was so much dirty as just not fully maintained in the off season and maybe not ready for busy season yet.
Transportation: I think they have transportation to the parks, but it was not free.
Recreation: They had a calendar of events that appeared it would be busier in the summer. They had a few activites for kids going on when we were there and a BBQ for guests. (it wasn't free but sounded like fun)
Value: Excellent value for the room!!
Over All Rating: 9
Don't Miss: The Mini Golf.
Room Location Suggestion: Probably near the pool.
The Mouse For Less Tip: Find this one on Hotwire
Comments: We would stay again because we really liked the room for the price.
The resort is totally a destination resort all of its own - you could go here for 2 days at least and just enjoy the grounds, the games, the concerts and all of the free fun on the grounds.
It is not a matter of "if" we will return... it is a matter of WHEN.
After staying here, I am convinced that this is the reason that All Star created family suites. Disney had to do something to compete with this, because this resort seriously is one of the best I have seen, from a kids perspective. It is not as "plush" as a deluxe resort, but it is much better (and cheaper) than getting 2 Value rooms.

Don't Miss: Check the schedule! They have shows going all hours, including
a Double Dare type show in the evening; games by the pool; holiday shows;
etc.
Room Location Suggestion: I think any room would be fine, but keep in mind
that if you request the SpongeBob Suite, you will pay more for the same room
you would get if you were in the Danny Phantom room or the Farily Oddparents
room - it's just that Spongebob is popular.
The Mouse For Less Tip: The shows are free and great entertainment for the
kids on a day away from the parks. The pool area also has a bunch of
activities to keep the kids busy.
Comments: Our room was overrun with ants. This would not have bothered me
as much as it did, except when I called the front desk to ask for some bug
spray, the woman said, "Oh, yeah, you've got ants." If she already knew I
had ants, why was the problem not addressed before we were given the room?
Also, because we kind of just dropped our stuff off in the room and didn't
get back in until the evening, we ended up packing a bunch of our stuff back
in the car to keep it from getting infested with the ants.
They did graciously offer to refund our money for the night's stay, and we
were told by the hotel manager that our room would not be reassigned until
the problem was resolved.
We also waited nearly 3 hours for someone to come with bug spray
