Don't Miss: The theming at this resort, like all of the value resorts, is great, especially for kids. The large movie icons are a lot of fun to walk around and look at and make great photo-ops!

Room Location Suggestion: We were in the Toy Story building, which is a "preferred" building, so it was pretty close to everything.

The Mouse For Less Tip: For as much time as we spent in our room, Disney Value Resorts are the way to go.

Comments: I haven't stayed in this resort for several years and I must say, I was disappointed. Our room was in pretty bad shape, including mildew on our ceiling and wet carpet in front of the door for the 1st day and a half. They were pressure washing the walkways outside when we arrived and we assume the water went under the door in to our room. Things were just a lot "shabbier" looking than at Pop Century (our "value of choice") or at Sports (where we've stayed several times in the last year, in totally refurbed rooms).

Now and then you hit the busses at "a bad time", but we had this happen several times. Once, we waited for well over 40 minutes for a bus we could actually ride! Empty buses came and went for every other stop MANY times, but when a bus arrived at our stop, it was FULL. The driver would stop, get out and say "sorry, we don't have any room" and drive off. After complaining to the front desk, a "non-Disney" bus arrived to pick us up but unfortunately, although it was empty, it had no handicap access! There were a small child in a wheelchair that had waited as long as we had and he and his family couldn't board! Finally the father asked if they CARRIED their son on, could that at least put his wheelchair in the luggage compartment under the bus, which the driver did allow.

Don't Miss: The giant Icons from the differant Disney films. Kids play ground area.

Room Location Suggestion: We had connecting rooms in the Dalmation building. (room #1490 & 1491 ) This is a preferred building. It was very convienent to main building, busses, & parking lot. They were toward the back of the building which made it very quiet. I think we paid $79 per nite per room during value season.

The Mouse For Less Tip: Get a preferred building definatly worth it.

Comments: We used TMFL Travel & b/c we payed with our Disney Visa we saved $300 for the 2 rooms b/c of a special that was offered.

Don't Miss: The giant figures in Andy's room.

Room Location Suggestion: We stayed in room 9701. When we opened the the room door we were in Andy's room. The kids LOVED IT. It was also a very short walk to the snack bar and store.

The Mouse For Less Tip: The toiletries in the gift shop are overpriced. Double check your personal care items before you leave home. (I will next time.)
