Check In: 3:00 p.m. / Check Out: 11:00 a.m.
The Yacht Club is a Deluxe Disney resort, located within easy walking distance of Epcot’s International Gateway entrance and of the BoardWalk’s entertainment and dining venues. The Yacht Club is elegant, with nautical themeing, appealing to the Old Salts among us, as well as those landlubbers who just enjoy a stroll along the beachfront. The floors are hardwood, the décor is brass, and comfy chairs abound- add in a sand-bottom pool that really is a mini-water park, and you’ve got the makings of a great vacation.
The Yacht Club, like all Disney resorts, is smoke-free. Designated outdoor smoking areas are indicated on the Resort Map.

From Our MouseForLess Members:
MouseForLess Interesting Facts about the resort:
The Yacht Club has full balconies on all their rooms; the Beach Club does not. - Angela
MouseForLess Room Request Tips:
Ask for an upper level room facing the Boardwalk. The view during the day is so pretty with the lighthouse, Boardwalk activity and surrey carts passing by. At night, the Boardwalk is absolutely beautiful lit up and the view across the lake is something I never tire of. My husband and I spent alot of time on our balcony overlooking the lake and Boardwalk and just taking in the beauty of this part of the property. - Mary Mahnke
We explained we were traveling with our adult daughter with special needs, minor mobility issues, so close access to transportation was critical. YC accomadated us by putting us on the first floor, across from the boat launch to Epcot and MGM and less that 2 minute wald to the buses. - Debbie
MouseForLess Hidden Treasures:
Sitting on the patio facing the boardwalk and finding the little knooks to read and rest after a long day. - Debbie
MouseForLess Tips for Romance:
Yachtsman Steakhouse is a very nice restaurant and my favorite in the Epcot resort area. My husband and I shared an anniversary dinner there and we were seated at a table by the window and we were able to see some of the Epcot fireworks from there! - Mary Mahnke
MouseForLess Tips for Families:
The mini golf course by the Swan/Dolphin is a nice walk from this hotel. This is one of the hotels that I think is the best since you can go to 2 parks on foot or by boat, walk to many different restaurants and even walk to a mini golf course. The only time we have ever boarded a bus when we stayed at this resort was to go to MK. That in itself, is a big seller for me as I'm not a big fan of the crowded busses!! - Mary Mahnke
MouseForLess Tips for Large Travel Groups:
Get to the pool early! This pool is so popular and there are not enough chairs, so if possible, go early so that you all get chairs and take advantage of their wonderful pool and pool slide! - Mary Mahnke
MouseForLess Tips for Guests with Special needs:
Always ask for help without expecting the world to stop for you. I make our requests for whatever we need in the priority that is most important. Ground floor room, for example, not a lot of walking, when we get to the parks we take a lot of rests, but at the end of the day the meltdown can be brutal. Be polite not demading. And always understand that sometimes requests cannot be made. Be open to new suggestions, it might be better. Relax. - Debbie
MouseForLess Tips for WDW Newbies:
Take the time to explore both the hotels and the Boardwalk area during your stay. Each morning we would walk over to the Boardwalk Bakery and share a bagel while watching the people who worked start the day at the Boardwalk. I'm not sure how long the walk is around the lake, but it is a nice walk and we go early in the morning and it is cool and very pleasant! Go have a tropical drink at the pool bar at the Boardwalk. They have some great specialty drinks (Ferris Wheel is my favorite) and the atmosphere there is very nice. The gift shop at the Yacht Club is one of my favorites. The nautical Mickey items are very nice! - Mary Mahnke
MouseForLess Tips for Budget Travelers:
Hurricane Hannah's has one of the best grilled chicken sandwiches I have eaten. The brewed iced tea is also excellent. While the restaurant closes at 6, we would go down and use our DDP "counter service restaurant" credit and get a grilled chicken sandwich, fresh brewed iced tea and chips and have it for lunch or sometimes we just saved it for dinner. - Mary Mahnke
MouseForLess Tips for Luxury Travelers:
Schedule a massage, pedicure or manicure. Get a facial, use the gym, have a drink and appetizers in the bar, go on a boat ride. - Debbie
