Disney Vacation Club Resort Classification
Located in the Downtown Disney resort area

Saratoga Springs is an all villa resort. Although it is part of the Disney Vacation Club, the rooms are available to non-members as well. The resort is themed as an upstate New York village in the 1800's. In addition to the many other amenities, this resort features a full spa. And after all of that relaxing, Downtown Disney is right across the lake.

Saratoga Springs, like all Disney resorts, is smoke-free. Designated outdoor smoking areas are indicated on the Resort Map.

Resort Refurbishment: The High Rock Spring pool slide will be closed from September 8 through 26. During this time, the pool will remain open.

Resort Theme:

Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa has an upstate New York theme featuring many equine touches.

Resort Rooms:

There are 552 villas. Disabled access villas are available. All buildings offer stairs and elevators. The studios sleep four (plus a crib) in one queen bed and one double sleeper; a one-bedroom, one-bath villas sleep four (plus a crib) in one king bed and one queen sleeper bed OR one king bed, one queen bed, one queen sleeper, an one double sleeper; two-bedroom/two-bath villas sleep eight (plus a crib) in one king bed, two queen beds and a queen sleeper bed; and three-bedroom/4 bath villas sleep 12 (plus a crib) in one king bed, two queen beds, two double beds and one queen sleeper.

Resort Shopping:

Artist's Palette is a one-stop shop for food, groceries and sundries. The shop stocks Disney character apparel and souvenirs as well as Saratoga Springs and Disney Vacation Club logo merchandise and general sundries. There is also a supply of grab-and-go food, groceries and beverages (including adult beverages) for use in the villas.

Resort Transportation:

Disney's bus service is available to and from this resort. There are four bus stops throughout the resort.

Water transportation is also available to Old Key West Resort and Downtown Disney. There is a walking path to Downtown Disney's Marketplace that may be a convenient option for some villa locations.

These times are approximate, provided to give you an idea of average travel times. Please plan on up to a 15 minute wait for Disney transportation.

    Magic Kingdom- 21 minutes by bus, 38 minutes by car (with transfers)
    Epcot- 15 minutes by bus, 18 minutes by car
    Disney-MGM Studios- 17 minutes by bus, 20 minutes by car
    Disney’s Animal Kingdom- 22 minutes by bus, 20 minutes by car
    Downtown Disney- 15 minutes walking, 10 minutes by bus, 7 minutes by car
    Blizzard Beach water park- 21 minutes by bus, 16 minutes by car
    Typhoon Lagoon water park- 21 minutes by bus, 9 minutes by car

Resort Childcare:

No on-site child care facility. In-room child care is available at all resorts.

If you wish to walk to Downtown Disney request a room in either Carousel, The Paddock or Congress Park. - Marie Lemmon

Talk to the CM. Look at the map before getting the room key!  Congress park is close to DTD and has a great quiet pool and laundry room right behind it. Loved Grand Stand Section: brand new, close to main buildings, Spa  and the pool was very close to us So, find a location you can live with! We bought mugs and they can be refilled at the big pool or at Artist palette so someone was always running over there. We found that you can use the bus to get to Artist Palette or huge pool. - Carol Monks
