Disney's beach resorts can be reserved by the general public like any other hotel. Plus, both resorts are perfect for a romantic getaway or a vacation filled with fun activities that the entire family can enjoy! While Disney touches and attention to detail abound, Disney characters at these resorts keep a somewhat low profile.
Disney's Vero Beach Resort
Find everything from relaxation-at the sea or at the spa-to recreation, such as golf, water sports and fine dining at this idyllic beach getaway. With 26 miles of unspoiled sand and tropical blue-green waters, this location is one of the most dense sea turtle nesting areas in the western hemisphere. Just 2 hours southeast of Walt Disney World Resort on Florida's Atlantic Treasure Coast, guests can revel in the old-fashioned charm of Florida-the way it used to be. Turtle Troop, a popular summer guided tour arranged by the resort, takes guests along the beach during sea turtle nesting season. Tours begin in May and continuing through October.

Since opening last year, Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, has proven to be a popular vacation destination in Hawai'i. Now the Resort is expanding its current amenities offerings. Planned expansions include an additional pool, toddler pool and interactive water play area; a larger pool deck; 2 new quick-service dining locations; a retractable trellis cover and outdoor seating for the signature Makahiki restaurant; an expanded Starlit Hui venue, allowing even more Guests to enjoy this popular show; and another beach access point will be added. Construction for these projects is scheduled to finish by the end of September 2013. All of the work has been carefully scheduled to minimize impact to guests. During the pool area expansion, much of Waikolohe Valley will remain open—including Waikolohe Pool, the lazy river, slides, whirlpool spas and Rainbow Reef. Below is an update on the progress and schedule of these projects:
• Little ‘Opihi’s, a new beachside food & beverage kiosk with convenient grab-and-go selections , opened in January 2013.
• A new terrace near ‘AMA‘AMA Contemporary Island Cooking restaurant with stairs leading down to the beach, spectacular ocean views and additional deck space is expected to be completed by the end of March 2013.
• A new merchandise location – Hale Manu – is expected to be completed at the end of April 2013.
• Work on the new themed family pool featuring an infinity edge and misty grotto with beautiful sunset views, splash zone and additional deck space is scheduled for completion in September 2013.
• A new quick service food location – Café ‘Ulu – an outdoor patio serving breakfast, lunch and dinner with beautiful ocean view is set to open in September 2013.
All Disney Passholders Save at Aulani
Aulani is offering All Disney Theme Park Passholders a discount on rooms. Disneyland, Walt Disney World, Disneyland Resort Paris, Hong Kong Disneyland and Tokyo Disney Resort passholders are included in this offer. Typically, discounts are about 10%.
Hawaiian Resident Rates
Discounts of up to 25% off may be offered to Kama'aina locals and/or Hawaiian residents on a seasonal basis. A Hawaiian resident ID (drivers license)is required at check-in.
2013 Military Rates
Discounts from 25% to 40% off, depending on the date of travel, are available to active Military through 2013. There are a select number of rooms available at this rate and rooms are subject to availability. Military members can book 2 rooms at the discounted price.
