#1 Elvis Fan, Asks:
I am inquiring about the different passes that can be bought at the Disney Stores. How long are they good for? How many days? Do they ever expire? Are there any codes to
use to get them cheaper? Thanks.
Pam Responds:
It's so great that you can buy those passes at the Disney Store isn't it? It helps get part of your vacation paid before you leave home,
and that is always a good thing in my book! Also you can take advantage of the advanced purchase price savings on select tickets by purchasing
you tickets either at the Disney Store, through The
Magic For Less Travel, or other places on-line. Those savings add up, especially when you are purchasing passes for a whole family.
Walt Disney World Park Hopper and Park Hopper Plus passes do not expire. Any unused days or plus features
can be used on your next Walt Disney World vacation.
The Ultimate Park Hopper ticket can only be purchased by guests staying at Walt Disney World Resort Hotels.
It is based on the number of days and nights you will be at the resort. It is valid from the moment you
check in until the end of you check-out day. Any unused days or features expire at Midnight on the day
that you check-out.
If you buy a voucher for an Annual or Premium Annual pass, the vouchers do not expire. The vouchers are
activated when you exchange them for the Actual pass at Guest services at the Parks or Downtown Disney.
You have 365 days of use from the date of activation.
There are no codes to use at the Disney Store to get passes any cheaper. As I mentioned, you do save on
certain passes by purchasing them in advance, and if you have a Disney Club be sure to get your Disney Club
discount.
Sue, Asks:
We are planning to visit WDW for a week in June. Our children are 6, 3, and 1. This is our first trip there with kids. My husband and I are both large adults. I am afraid we may not fit on some of the rides. Do you know of any rides with weight specifications or ones that larger people have trouble fitting into? I am a very brave person who likes to ride rollercoasters, but I am afraid I might be embarrassed if I don't fit into the seat. Thank you,
Pam Responds:
Sue, I wouldn't worry about this, since it is rarely a problem at Disney Parks. Our good friend, Deb Wills, has an excellent
section on her web site addressing this very subject. Use the links on the left side of the page to find out information on specific
parks and rides. This should put you at ease. We also have a very amusing take on this situation right here on the MFL. MFL member, Judith,
gives her "Fat Lady's Guide to the Worlds" and "Fat
Lady's Guide to Disneyland." These are articles are not to be missed!
Have a wonderful vacation, and enjoy the time with your family!
