Mickey's Mile Marker - Your road trip guide to WDW!

Hours from WDW: 4 - 5 hours
Good Restaurants: Applebees, STARBUCKS, Chick Fil A, Wendys (part of a truck stop with a really great indoor play area for kids young and old), Sonic. Also we always grab some fresh nuts at the Adcock outlet and snack on the way down.
Locations of good, clean hotels/motels: Fairfield Inn, Holiday Inn is just OK (not a new one) and does not have indoor corridors - believe it or not the Days Inn looks pretty good. Updated 7/15/07 - The FAIRFIELD INN seriously rocks the free world. You will really enjoy your stay here.
Updated 2/23/08 - Stayed at the Courtyard and it was very clean and had an indoor pool and 2 queen beds like the Fairfield. However did not have free breakfast like the Fairfield. Great showers.

Locations of good, clean hotels/motels: Courtyard--has a special breakfast buffet. It's $10 per family of 4 if you pay when you check in. It's $8.95 per adult (not sure of kids' prices)if you wait until the morning. Buffet includes made to order eggs, waffles, sausage, bacon, grits, potatoes, oatmeal, cereal, muffins, bagels, toast, yogurt, several kinds of fruit, coffee, tea, soda, milk.
