Good Restaurants: Cracker Barrell, I-hop, Perkin's, Cheddars, Red Lobster, and Lone Star steak house. There are many, many restaurants in this town.
Locations of 24 hour restaurants: Steak and Shake just off the State Street exit.
Locations of good, clean hotels/motels: There is a Best Western, Holiday Inn, Red Roof Inn, and Ramada Suites that are nice right off the exit. If you go a half hour south to Rochelle hotels are cheaper but no suites.
Recreation/attractions: Magic Waters Water Park just off the highway. There is a great childrens museum in the hart of Rockford about 15 minutes west of the exit. There is also tons of shopping.
Nearest Disney store/outlet...and type ie... Castle Store: CherryVale Mall, Rockford has a Disney Store. When you get off I-90 and on US-20 get off at the Harrison Road Exit going west and the mall is at the 1st light turn right into the mall entrance.
Welcome Center: The closest one is after the Wisconsin/Illinois border on I-90.
