Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Reviews

We did Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in Feburary with our granddaughter age 5 and grandson age 7. It was priceless to us. We went to the castle for the transformation. You could just see all the kids there with all the magic of Disney making all their dreams come true. They went in beleiving in dreams coming true, and they came out as princesses and princes. They were treated like royality the moment they walked in and seeing who they became when they walked out, my granddaughter beleived she became the princess. My grandson was inpressed with the color and Mickey impression in the back of his head. The photos were priceless. I would pay the money in a heartbeat again to see the smiles on their faces.it was a precious moment in a lifetime. ~ disgrandma

We took our 5 yr. old DD to BBB in December and it was the absolute highlight of her trip. Her Fairy Godmother in training was Donna at the DTD location. Donna was just a hoot and the two of them really hit it off. I was a little worried that I was not allowed to have a say in the color choices of make up and hair extensions, and my DD picked exactly the opposite of what I would have picked but it turned out darling. And of course she loved it. There was a photopass photographer taking pictures of the whole process. I loved how they made my DD feel so special from the minute she walked in. There was an invitation with her name printed on it when we arrived. I noticed all the FG's would comment on any "Princess" they happened to pass, how beautiful they looked, etc. I initially thought the price was a little steep, but after seeing the lengths they will go to so that every little Princess feels like the most beautiful girl in the world, I would pay it again and again.

After she was done, we went over to the photo studio by Guest Services and had more photos added to our photopass account. They were very professionally done and the props were perfect for Princesses. We also had the added bonus of seeing Santa right outside and getting her photo taken with Santa in all her Princess finery.

I would highly recommend BBB to anyone with a little girl who is into Princesses and dress up. It was an experience my DD will never forget. ~ Carol in Oregon

A little background, my 4 yo son has spina bifida and there are often times that my daughter (age 7) takes a backseat due to something that has to be done for my son. For example, I had to leave her Kindergarten orientation so that I could rush him to Children's Hospital because he was having a seizure. Krissy never, ever complains and is always finding ways to include Bub in things (like playing hot potato at her birthday party because it is a game you can sit and play). She is an amazing little girl.

Anyway, I wanted something really special for her while we were in Disney, so with the help of TMFL agent Linda N, we booked her at the Bibbidi Bobbiti Boutique for our last morning there. Our plane was leaving at 3 and so we had a bit of time in the AM. We had her appt at the BBB and then breakfast at CRT. I watched our local Disney store, which is now gone :( and picked her up the Deluxe Cinderella Dress right before Halloween at 40% off. With this dress and a pair of $8 silver shoes from Target, we did the Crown Package, which I think was 49.95. We paid an additional $10 for the little tiara, which doesn't ordinarily come with the Disney Diva package.

One thing that I have to say is that the Deluxe dress from the Disney store was nicer than the dresses that were offered with the Castle package. I understand that you can get a deluxe dress at teh BBB but it increases the $179.99 price even more.

Krissy was treated like a princess. They made her feel so special. Upon arrival, they gave her a special invititation that had been personalized with her name. Then she got to choose the makeover she wanted. They pulled all of her hair up and then added the extensions, which she also got to choose. They painted her nails (she chose the color for all the makeup) then they put the makeup on and apply the gems to her face. Then came the pixie dust! She said that aside from winning Dream Ears and gettingto help open the Festival of the Lion King show, that the BBB was the best part of her trip.

I think what amazed me is that it was so tastefully done. I was afraid that the makeup would be heavily applied, but it was a very light amount and she truly did look beautiful. We went from there to CRT and everyone we passed made such a fuss over her. Even on the airplane ride back home (the dress was off, but the tiara was still on) the flight attendents were curtsying to her. I was also concerned about how we'd get all that Pixie Dust out of her hair, but it washed out with regular shampoo pretty easily!

I have a few pics on my blog but they're pretty far to the bottom of the post.

We'd definitely do it again! ~ Mary

We went in November for my daughter's 5th birthday and even up until this week she asks when she can go again. She had a wonderful time! They really pampered her. We came already dressed in our Cinderella costume, it can cost upwards of $200 to purchase the costume and everything there, so I couldn't justify spending that amount. Two "fairy god mothers in training" worked on her at the same time, one doing hair and one doing makeup and nails. Then there was one woman taking pics.

What I didn't like was that they let the kid pick the hair color for the piece on her head. My daughter has dark brunette hair, and of course since she was dresses like Cinderella, she thought she should be blonde. So I had to put a stop to that when she picked it. She didn't understand that it was a hair piece and that her real hair would be showing, so it really needed to match her hair color. Maybe I am too uptight, but we were going to eat at 1900 Park Fare and I didn't want her to have a blonde hairpiece on brown hair.

The other thing I didn't like was the picture package. Somehow in all the mess of trying to check out, no one took the time to explain to me that I was being charged for a picture package. At then end you are supposed to go to the photo studio on main street and have a photo session. They charged me for this without explaining what it was. When I realized what I had bought, I asked for a refund and they said I had to go to the photo studio to get it. I had to stand in line and wait in there and get a manager to give me my money back. It was something like $30, so it was worth waiting for.

As I said, my daughter loved it and I plan on taking her back this year for her 6th birthday, but now I know what to watch out for. ~ Erica
