TheMouseForLess SURVIVOR CHALLENGE #7
Red Hot Disney Divas
vs.
Kungaloosh
Welcome to challenge # 7, The Mouse For less Survivors. Your challenge is
to take a happily blushing honeymoon couple on a FABULOUS 4-day
Disney Cruise! Applause and wild cheering explodes throughout
Survivorland for the "TheMouseForLess Honeymoon!"
Our honeymooners love Disney and have always wanted to take a cruise.
They've scrimped and saved for two years for their dream honeymoon and
this is it. Our lovebirds spent a lot of time debating and finally chose a
Disney cruise-only honeymoon. No time for WDW on their trip,
unfortunately. So, Survivors, send your newlyweds on their 4-day Disney
Cruise. Choose their cruise dates any time between Friday, June 8th and
Friday, December 28th, 2001. Yes, you have to cruise 4 days in a row and
return home before 2002 :) What should you include in your
completed challenge presentation, suitable for online viewing by a
general computer user?
How do they plan their honeymoon? What will they do onboard? (KEEP IT
CLEAN, FOLKS!) What are their accomodations? What do they eat and
drink, and when? What will they see while on and off ship during their
cruise? How much does this all realistically cost them? How did they save
money and how much did they save?
How much do they spend? Well, that's up to YOU. The rules are: budget
everything from the time they step on board to the time they step off. This
includes their tickets and cruise fees but not airfare and transport to the
dock and back. KEEP IN MIND that although these are not required for
this challenge, our new Mr. and Mrs. Honeymooners will be paying for all
that as well. So, you're probably asking again, how much is the budget?
YOU tell us, the DisneyDollarship members, what they'll spend. Pricing
must be verifiable online and sources included in your presentation. How
do you present it to the membership? Use your imagination, but
remember your target audience. What has your audience seemed to like
and not like so far? What does your audience express as likes and
dislikes when posting to DD? Organize all information on one page,
however presented, keeping in mind the audience will be seeing it online.
Most folks don't have a way to view a Power Point presentation, so don't
go there folks. Grammar and spelling do count when people read online
information. Another hint: from reading DD lately it sure seems that a
majority of posters don't like wading through numerous links to get the
information they want. Our members like "all in one information
shopping" if you will.
To repeat: your mission is to send our honeymooners on a 4-day Disney
Cruise. Tell us what they'll do while cruising AND what it costs with
verification of your online sources for pricing. Organize this information
on a single page to be displayed for viewing via the Internet.
Enjoy this week's challenge, Survivors. We can't wait to see what you have in store for our "TheMouseForLess Honeymoon!"
