Live Interactive Entertainment at Disney-MGM Studios:

"A Star is Born"
Show Times: 10:30, 11:45, 1:00, 2:15, 3:30, 4:45, 6:00

Concept: Hollywood is coming to New York to film a romantic comedy called
"My Broadway Baby". The star of the show is replaced at the last minute
by an audience member! The new "star" can be either male or female, with
scripts devised for either scenario.

Characters From 1930's Hollywood:
Director:  Cecil B. DeVil. Dressed in jodhpur riding pants, frilly shirt.
Wears a beret and carries a riding crop.
Producer: Mr. Bigshot. Fancy suit and a big unlit cigar in his mouth.
Starlet:    Bubbleheaded bimbo. Hangs onto Mr. Bigshot hoping to be a star.
Actors:    Stars of the show. Dressed in 1930's costume.
Stangehands, Cameraman, Costume/Makeup, Clapboard/Cue Card

Location and Props: New York Street. Two dressing screens near the sidewalk
Costumes and accessories in a case between the screens. Phony camera, lights,
director's chair.

The director, producer, and various crew members arrive. As the crew sets
up the dressing screens and film props, the director and producer discuss the
film, "My Broadway Baby".

All actors assemble, but the "star" stumbles and hurts self while looking
into a hand mirror. The director frantically "discovers" his new star in the
audience. The new "star" puts on an apron-like costume, tied in back. The director
calls for "MAKEUP!", and the clapboard guy gets hit in the face with a huge powder puff.  Other audience members can be used as extras if needed.

The new "star" reads the cue cards, but the director needs a few "takes" to
get the scene right. Afterwards, the new "star" has a publicity photo shoot with
the cast members. The photos cost $5 if taken by MGM, or free with the guest's
own camera. Swarms of fans ask for the new "star" for an autograph!
