In accordance with our agreement to create and implement new entertainment for the Magic Kingdom, we have an idea that we think you will find meets your park's high standards for entertainment and education.

We have an act that we consider to be top notch, The Armonics; they are a group that features an instrument called the Glass Armonica. If you are not familiar with this instrument, Benjamin Franklin invented it in 1761, all but abandoned by 1800 as it was said to cause insanity and has recently been revived. It is a set of Crystal Bowls that are "tuned", arranged on a spindle, spun and played by running moistened fingers around the rims. A more familiar version would be water filled goblets, it creates a hauntingly beautiful sound. For more information on this instrument, visit www.armonica.com.

We feel that the historic significance of this instrument would be perfect in Liberty Square. Set up in front of the Liberty Bell near the Liberty Tree, the group, dressed in garb from the 1760's with the lead as Benjamin Franklin, would introduce the instrument and offer to let the audience try it. He would then spend a few minutes on the contributions that Franklin made to our society, including how the Turkey should be our national bird! Followed by a set of patriotic tunes, they have never failed to wow an audience. They also offer an excellent repertoire of Holiday Music to be used for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party!

The group also includes other instruments, a hurdy-gurdy, violin, and keyboard.

We have scheduled daily performances at 10:00, 11:30, 1:00, 2:30 and 4:00, with each lasting 20 to 30 minutes.
