CLEANLINESS OF TRANSPORTATION: 10 both vehicles were clean and comfortable WAIT TIME/DRIVE TIME: 10 They were ALWAYS promptly on time. Drive time doesn't count in my opinion because they can't control the traffic, though we never encountered any delays. VALUE: 10 QUALITY OF SERVICE: 10 OVERALL EXPERIENCE: 10 NOTES: I was very impressed when Bob called me the night before our trip to confirm our pick up time at the airport the next day. I've used Tiffany Towncar as well as Mears and both had the attitude of "you can confirm with us if you want to". Their customer service was great! They opened the doors all the time, were polite, had great radio stations on (loved the Stevie Ray Vaughn music, Roger!!!), pumped the A/C on high anytime we got in the vehicle. Bob drove a Yukon and Roger drove a 10 passenger van. I'll admit that I thought I'd try them out, simply because they offered an MFL discount. I have to say now, that I'll continue using them because they offer great service at a great price. VALUE: 10 QUALITY OF SERVICE: 10 OVERALL EXPERIENCE: 10 NOTES: I got an e-mail yesterday asking me why are they my favorite? Well, here's my response. I used TiffanyTowncar last August. Service was acceptable, but not special. In January, we used YourRide. Our driver was, Roger and he was great. One day, Roger was busy in the morning, so Bob filled in Unfortunately, since January, YourRide has a new owner and they haven't been getting all that great of reviews. Using the MFL Transportation Discounts, I came across Sunray. I e-mailed them and got a great rate, so I booked with them, not knowing it was the same Roger and Bob from January. Anyway, Bob called me the night before our trip to confirm our pick up time at the airport the next day. No car service has EVER done that for me anywhere. It's always been, "you can confirm with us if you want to". So, when Bob picks us up, I'm thinking - boy he sure looks familiar!! Then a day or so later, it starts to dawn on me who he is. Then, when he says Roger is taking over for the rest of our trip, it all clicked. Their customer service was and is great. They opened the doors all the time, were polite, had great radio stations on, pumped the A/C on high anytime we got in the vehicle. Bob drives an Excursion (?) and Roger has a 10 passenger van. Yes, it's not a town car, but they are both exceptionally clean and I feel more comfortable in these kinds of vehicles than I do in a town car anyway. Bob and Roger have started their own transportation company and I think it's important to support a good company. I used them because they offer an MFL discount. I will continue using them because they offer great service at a great price. Jen H. July 24, 2004 Posted by: koolkat We just got back from WDW and were very pleased with our service from Sunray. Bob, co-owner, was prompt, expedient and professional. The rates were better than others and the huge Expedition was more than comfortable on our airport transfer. We will definitely use them when visiting Orlando. Our only complaint is that there is not a Sunray in our hometown! They were on time, courteous and offered a 30 min. grocery store stop on the way. I would hire them again in the future because of their prices and dependability. Please note!!! They DO NOT have town car service. We were picked up in a White Van at the Airport and at the end of our trip, picked up in a nice Expidition or similar. I was expecting a town car since that's what the comment on this site says! That was the only "surprise". I just had to post my great review of Sunray as well! I had read nothing but great reviews on this board, and decided to try them out when my sister and I planned a spur of the moment trip for last week. I absolutely loved Sunray! We had Bob as our driver, and the trip to and from the airport was fantastic. He's so courteous and professional, and I loved not having to show a coupon to get the discounted rate or reminding someone about the grocery stop. They have the cheapest rate that I could find for towncar service in Orlando. I've been raving about them to everyone and will be using Sunray for every trip from now on! WOW! I cannot say enough, BOB is Fantastic! We arrived on a Friday afternoon. Our flight was an hour late. I forgot to call till we landed. He was already on top of it and was prepared for our arrival. He was the best. We rode in a very roomy SUV. Very comfortable! He let us know when he would be picking us up and was there waiting for us at the front of our hotel. We made it to the airport in plenty of time to catch our flight. -- mickey80104 My husband and I just returned from Walt Disney World yesterday and wanted to pass along that we had great service from Sunray Transportation. Our driver, Roger, was prompt, very professional and very personable. We flew into Sanford/Orlando rather than Orlando International and Sunray had one of the cheapest prices, but we chose them more because of their great reviews on this message board. Our flight into Sanford had numerous delays, but they kept abreast of the delays and were still there on time, despite the fact that we got in almost 4 hours later than expected. Roger was even willing to make a quick stop for us at a 7-11 to get some milk for our little one! I highly recommend their service and will use them again when we are in Orlando-0 -- cindygarf Sunray Transportation eliminated all worries. My daughter and I got into MCO late, 11:30 P.M.,and Bob was waiting for us right at the bottom of the escalator. We were on our way 11 minutes after we landed in Orlando!!!(Of course we only travel with carry-on luggage!!!We have had too many bad luggage experiences!) The Drive was pleasant and direct. On our way back to the airport, Roger picked us up. He was 15 minutes early. It was a great trip! The transportation was wonderful!!! After having used Mears and rental cars before, this is the only way to go if you are staying on property. I will definitely call Sunray again. Thanks Bob and Roger!!!!
