A little over a year ago, we shared that Disney would be closing the Snow White’s Scary Adventure attraction at Disneyland. During the closure, the attraction would be getting an extensive retheming. We just found out some fantastic new details about what to expect with this attraction when it reopens.
Keep in mind that the Fantasyland attraction is not only being updated on the inside; it’s also getting a brand new name. The Snow White’s Scary Adventures attraction will now be known as Snow White’s Enchanted Wish!
During the park’s extended closure, Imagineers have been working on the attraction. When Guests get to revisit this attraction, they will notice an enhanced story and all-new scenes. To bring this story to life, Imagineers are using state-of-the-art audio and visual technology. There will also be new music, LED black lighting, laser projections and a new animation system that will bring Snow White’s story to life.
During this new version, Guests will see new appearances of favorite characters, including Snow White who will be seen dancing and twirling with the Seven Dwarfs in their cottage. Guests may also catch a whiff of apple pie! There will also be vibrant new shadow projections that bring to life the dwarfs as they march off to work they go! Speaking of the Dwarves working in the mine, it will now sparkle and shimmer courtesy of great new lighting effects!
