Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it appears as though the Halloween hard ticket event, the Oogie Boogie Bash which is held at Disney California Adventure has been cancelled, according to the OC Register.

The Oogie Boogie Bash typically kicks off in mid-September and takes a substantial amount of planning and coordination, therefore, as the Disneyland Resort awaits theme park guidelines that have yet to be released by the state, the need to cancel the event became clear. Now, the resort typically decorates big with Halloween Time decor at both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure during the Halloween season and there’s no word on whether the resort will be able to celebrate. According to Disneyland officials, details about that will be shared at a later time as the resort continues to work toward reopening with guidance from state and federal authorities.

Oogie Boogie Bash, which is themed after classic film, The Nightmare Before Christmas featured a villain-themed World of Color show called Villanous, the Frightfully Fun Parade, special attraction overlays, and a Descendants dance party.

The event normally runs on select nights in both the months of September and October, however Disneyland Resort definitely plans to bring back the spooktacular fun in 2021.
