One of the most underrated attractions at the Walt Disney World Resort is Mickey’s PhilharMagic. The 3D film attraction, which can be found in Fantasyland tells the story of Donald Duck preparing the orchestra for maestro Mickey, when Donald comes across the conductor’s baton and the famous Sorcerer’s Hat. Once he puts the hat on, he (and we) is taken away into the fantastic stories of some of our favorite Disney animated films, including Beauty and the Beast, Fantasia, The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, Peter Pan, and Aladdin.
Well, soon, there will be a brand new location to be able to catch this show that has been wowng audiences in the Magic Kingdom since 2003. You see, beginning in April, Mickey’s PhilharMagic will be enchanting Guests at Disney California Adventure in the Sunset Showcase Theater in HollywoodLand.
This is definitely exciting news and I think, is an addition that makes complete sense. To me, I’m honestly surprised they didn’t bring Mickey’s PhilharMagic out to the west coast sooner!
