Guests who are fully vaccinated who visit the Disneyland Resort will have the option of wearing face coverings in both indoor and outdoor locations, beginning on February 17, 2022.
Those who are not fully vaccinated are expected to continue to wear face masks in all indoor locations. This includes theater productions, as well as indoor attractions. Face coverings are required for all Guests, regardless of vaccination status, in certain indoor settings including Disney shuttles. They will also be required in health settings, such as in First Aid. Face coverings are optional for Guests in outdoor areas.
For those wearing a face covering, they must:
- Be made with at least 2 layers of breathable material
- Fully cover the nose and mouth and secure under the chin
- Fit snugly but comfortably against the side of the face
- Be secured with ties or ear loops and allow the Guest to remain hands-free
The Walt Disney World Resort also changed their face mask rules, as well.
