Disneyland Resort Holiday Festivities Kick Off November 11

Disneyland Resort Holiday

Disneyland Resort will celebrate the holiday season from November 11, 2022 through January 8, 2023! There will be a number of great holiday events that will take place between the two theme parks and the resort overall.

Disney California Adventure

Returning will be the Disney Festival of Holidays. This event highlights diverse holiday celebrations, including Christmas/Navidad, Diwali, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and Three Kings Day. Festival marketplaces will be found across the park and will serve delectable foods and beverages. Also returning will be the Sip and Savor Pass where you can enjoy eight food or non-alcoholic beverage selections from participating marketplaces and dining locations. As part of Disney Festival of Holidays, you may also enjoy nightly holiday concerts at the Palisades Stage in Paradise Gardens Park.

The holiday entertainment will include “Mickey’s Happy Holidays,” a procession of Disney and Pixar characters dancing and marching along to the Holiday Toy Drummers. The “Disney ¡Viva Navidad!” street party also returns, featuring Mickey and Minnie Mouse wearing fiesta attire and accompanied by Mexican folklórico dancers and Mariachis, Brazilian samba dancers and percussionists and giant mojiganga puppets.

Guests will also be able to see Santa Claus in the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail.

Plus, Cars Land will feature fantastic decor, as well as two holiday attraction overlays in Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl and Mater’s Jingle Jamboree.

Finally, Guests will see a 50-foot-tall Christmas tree on Buena Vista Street when they walk in. In addition, the nighttime spectacular “World of Color – Season of Light” will bring holiday magic mixing with Disney animated films.

Disneyland Park

Disneyland Park will feature its iconic 60-foot-tall Christmas tree on Main Street, U.S.A. Plus, Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle will enchant from day to night with shimmering icicles and twinkling lights. Also, Guests looking for characters may find them in Town Square in their finest holiday attire.

Guests will be able to celebrate the season with the “A Christmas Fantasy” Parade, a daily musical procession of floats, marching toy soldiers, dancing gingerbread cookies and more.

In the evenings, Guests can enjoy “Believe… in Holiday Magic” fireworks spectacular, which features magical “snowfall” and colorful projections on Main Street, U.S.A., and the façade of “it’s a small world.” In addition, if you’re looking for dance parties, head to Tomorrowland Terrace where you’ll find Goofy, Pluto, Chip ‘n’ Dale and others nightly.

Two beloved Disneyland attractions will also return with fan-favorite seasonal transformations. “it’s a small world” Holiday will take Guests around the world as dolls and toys representing children enjoying the distinctive holiday traditions of their respective countries. Then, Jack Skellington and his friends will be back with the collision between Christmas and Halloween as Haunted Mansion transforms into Haunted Mansion Holiday.

Downtown Disney District and the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort

In the Downtown Disney District, you’ll be able to enjoy décor and photo opportunities, festive musical entertainment and special offerings from shops and restaurants.

Finally, all three Hotels of the Disneyland Resort will display beautifully themed Christmas trees, feature performances from carolers and visits from Santa Claus. And yes, returning once again will be the annual gingerbread house display at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa!
