Who is ready to get their inner super hero on? You’ll be able to do so beginning in the summer of 2020 at Disney California Adventure thanks to the opening of the first phase of the Avengers Campus.
Avengers Campus was set up by the Avengers to recruit the next generation of Super Heroes. The new land for the park was announced officially at the D23 Expo and will be located in the former location of a bug’s land.
Avengers Campus will be home to the Worldwide Engineering Brigade – also known as “WEB”. This location will house a brand new Spider-Man experience, which is the first Disney ride-through attraction to feature the iconic character. In the attraction, Guests will experience an open house, where aspiring inventors have invited you for a test drive of their latest invention: the “Web Slinger” vehicle which allows you to sling webs, as you help Spider-Man collect Spider-Bots that are loose throughout the attraction.
Avengers Campus will also feature Pym Test Kitchen. This eatery is based on Ant-Man and will use “Pym Particles” to grow and shrink just about anything, including the food and beverage.
Guests who visit this new land will also find some of their favorite characters including Black Widow, Doctor Strange, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Ant-Man and The Wasp, Heroes from Wakanda and Asgard, and Iron Man.
