We are about a month away from the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival which was announced recently and kicks off March 4 and runs through April 26. This festival celebrates all of California’s cultures and cuisines.
Festival Marketplaces
To start things off, there will be a dozen Festival Marketplaces available which will serve small bites and beverages. (There will also be some festival options at a select number of dining locations throughout the park too, which will have specialty festival menu items.) Guests will even have the option to purchase a Sip and Savor Pass which will allow them to have eight coupons that are redeemable for select food and nonalcoholic beverages at participating locations.
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival Entertainment and Presentations
If you’re looking for entertainment and presentations, The Hollywood Backlot in Hollywood Land will be where you want to head. The all-new animated series, “Alice’s Wonderland Bakery,” which just debuted on Disney Junior is the inspiration behind a new, limited-time festival experience for junior chefs. This experience will be called “Alice’s Wonderland Bakery Unbirthday Party.” It will take place at the Hollywood Backlot Stage. Kids ages 3-11 will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on cupcake decorating. Space is limited, and sign-ups begin 45 minutes before each show time.
If you’re looking for characters, the Hollywood Backlot will be where you might find Chef Goofy or Chip ‘n’ Dale. There will also be the Jammin’ Chefs serving up rhythms using pots and pans.
On Saturdays and Sundays, there will be culinary demonstrations at the Hollywood Backlot Stage! A diverse lineup of Disney and visiting chefs will prepare their favorite dishes. Plus they will even share insider tips for making meals at home.
Signature Events
There will be a few signature events that Guests can participate in, as well, for an additional fee. These include things like the Carthay Circle Winemaker Receptions or special wine, beer and mixology seminars at Sonoma Terrace.

Finally, fans of Soarin’ Over California are in for a treat. The attraction will return to Disney California Adventure for a limited time.
