Back at the last D23 Expo, it was shared that Disney Cruise Line would have a new port that Guests would be able to stop at in the near future. Lighthouse Point will be a second Bahamian private island for Guests to experience.
Lighthouse Point on the breathtaking island of Eleuthera, will celebrate both the stories of The Bahamas. It will also celebrate as the natural environment, all while incorporating Disney touches. Lighthouse Point will incorporate local artists and cultural experts into the design. The end product is one that will create an authentic experience all while preserving mother nature. Disney will be working with local artists to create a unique destination rooted in Bahamian culture and filled with Disney magic.
This new island destination will certainly be a fantastic destination to experience with it officially opens sometime in 2024.
