Walt Disney Pencil Holder- by Lynda Carswell

I love the image of Walt walking through Sleeping Beauty's Castle that is printed on the back of the cardboard outer wrapping of the Disney Treasures DVD. As I was opening my new ones this morning, it dawned on me that with a little care, I could turn the bottom of the outer wrapping into a pencil holder.

Simply cut the box in two, right at the bottom of the "window" opening.

Put a bit of tape on the bottom flap, to keep it in place, and "tah dah"- a handy dandy pencil holder.

If you want to go for the deluxe pencil holder, leave the plastic overwrap in place, carefully remove the stickers, and cut the box in two about 1/2 " above the window bottom, turn the resulting uprights inside of the box along with the loose plastic overwrap, and tape it to the inside.
