Who does your family consist of? DH Jeff, DD Talena (21), DS Sean (12) and DD Sarah (9) and our doxie Jazzy.
What is your occupation? Travel counsellor for The Magic for Less, teach tae kwon do part time to little ninjas.
Who is your favorite Disney Character and why? Mickey, he is just so cute and animated, and I know not very original, but he really is my favorite.
As an ImaginEAR, what regular feature/job do you do for MFL? I approve messages, am list mom and chat host for Magic Cruises for Less.
How many times have you vacationed to a Disney destination? 15 (estimate).
What is your favorite Disney Resort (or off site property) and why? Animal Kingdom Lodge, there is nothing like it.
What is your favorite Disney restaurant, in or out of the parks? 'Ohana's for dinner.
What is your favorite ride or attraction at any of the Disney parks? Me mates and I love to ride Pirates of the Caribbean.
When visiting Disney theme parks, do you "park hop" or not and why? We are not really hoppers, we like to stay put and not spend time hopping, but with the dining plan, we do tend to hop more often.
What is your favorite Disney memory? Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party in 2002. We were on a family trip, DH had been activated (military) and gone most of the year, only home on occasional weekends so this was our get away. We had not purchased party tickets as I felt it wasn't going to be worth the extra cost. DH kept seeing signs about it and asked a cast member, left to go get a drink and came back with party tickets for the whole family. We had the BEST time at that party and have done several other parties since then.
What is your favorite "extra cost" event/tour? The hard ticket parties, they are so much extra fun I love them.
Have you met any MFL members at a Disney park? If so, who and what did you do? This could get long.
First person I met was Deb from MO (also an agent at TMFL now, but this was before TMFL became a reality). We met at Prime Time with one other MFL member (then it was DDL) and had lunch "near" each other, we were not able to sit together. On the big Mouse for Less group cruise in January I met Angie and family from KC, Jackie and family, Pam B and family, Tequila Mike and family, Linda Stockwell and family, Pam Forrester and family, Arlene Rose, Margaret, Carol and Don, and Jen from NH (I apologize if I miss anyone it was a big group). Wow we had the best time on that cruise despite the fact we missed 2 ports ! We have met up with and/or taken vacations with several of the abovementioned many times since then. We have met up with Susan K from Florida and her family several times to hang out at the parks, our favorite activity is meandering around the World Showcase. Last August we cruised with Mike C, Binnie, Linda and family, Jill from KC, Nikki from Spain and her family and had another great cruise. I have met Melissa (Happy), Cindy L, AdaMae, Cheryl, Missy and Tammy at World Day Meets at the Mall of America here in Minnesota. I met up with Stephanie and Joyce when I was in Boston one time, and have ran into (literally with no planning) Stephanie at WDW since then.
Besides "things Disney", what do you like to do in your free time? I enjoy scrapbooking but do not have alot of free time, my family rendezvous (primitive camping and period reenactment of the fur trade era), I like to read, have done quite a bit of genealogical research into my Irish roots, I am a red belt in Tae Kwon Do and recently have become hooked on Pirates of the Caribbean online.
What would people be surprised to know about you? I am a 2 1/2 yr breast cancer survivor.
What is your best MouseForLess money saving tip? Quick and easy breakfast in the room, it not only saves money it sames time.
What area of TheMouseForLess.com do you use most frequently? Just one? I use the e-cards, I am always pulling up a map or a menu, it's set as my home page whenever I open my browswer so I do use it quite often.
What is your favorite aspect of MFL? The people, hands down.
