The Living Statues (or watch your wallet) -- by Ed in CT
Sure it looks like an innocent statue in the park ... but wait!
Here's an unsuspecting guest having his sunglasses pilfered ... actually he was too busy thinking how cute the statue was.
The unsuspecting guest realizes the ruse but it's too late ... this is of course after I asked him where his glasses were.
He [Ed's son] offered the statue some cold hard cash but it refused ... negotiating with statues can be very tricky.
The statue decides a fair price for the glasses will be a kiss on the cheek ... I think the statue got the short end on that deal.
And with that ... all that can be said is ... what glasses? ... the statue is innocent I say.
