Epcot Flower and Garden Festival 2002 -- by Chris and Jessica Johnson
Now it’s time to head out into the World Showcase, after seeing what Future World had to offer. We’ll start in Mexico and work our way back around to Canada. As you enter Mexico, the first thing you’ll notice is that on the lagoon side there seems to be a barge covered with bright flowers.
Then, as you get further into the Pavillion, you notice that the Cantina de San Angel has a bunch of these plants hung from every available post. You look over and see that the temple is also covered with these flowers. A quick look in the program tells you that they are Electric Colored Bougainvillea.
As you wander out of the Pavillion, there are a lot of exotic rain forest plants, and to your left, nestled in one of the trees you find a Tropical Bird Topiary.
Heading out of Mexico, you enter Norway which has displays of wildflowers set up around its buildings. Just as you think there isn’t much to see, and are on your way to China, you encounter this guy.
Moving along into China, you see plenty of bamboo, then glance out toward the lagoon and see three playful Pandas.
