Mega Mouse Meet During the week of November 30 - December 8, 2003, Disney Internet communities and Disney fans from around the world gathered at Walt Disney World to meet each other and enjoy the Magic that is Disney. The Big Meet and Greet The focal point of the weekend was on Saturday December 6th, the Big Meet and Greet. TheMouseForLess members attending Mega Mouse Meet 2003 had an absolutely wonderful time. It was great to put faces to names (and email addresses) of members that post on the MFL list, and we enjoyed talking with those that stopped by the big Meet and Greet on Saturday to say "hi." We have already started planning ways we can make the MouseForLessFest even bigger for 2004 and will be posting more on that very soon. We estimate that there were approximately 50 or more MFL members in attendance at MouseForLessFest 2003. However, too many people and not enough time seemed to be the theme for us. Who knew it would be such a resounding success? We simply were unable to chat with everyone we wanted to meet or spend time with all of our wonderful cyber friends. There were literally dozens of great park meets sponsored by the many Internet communities in attendence we wished we could have attended, but were unable to make Disney transportation work to our advantage. Next year, we plan to allocate more days and be a bit more strategic in our planning in an effort to maximize the number of people we can meet, greet, and play with in the parks.
