December 2008 is rapidly approaching! For those of us that haven't firmed up all of our plans, NOW IS THE TIME!
Detailed information is finally starting to flow in! We will continue to update this page with each little detail as soon as it is given to us. Be sure to work your MFL Meets in to your schedule!
You can join us at MFL at MouseFest 2008, at the Walt Disney World Resort beginning Thursday, December 11, 2008. Be sure to check this page often for updates!
As you plan, please make sure that you have the Park Hopper option on your Magic Your Way ticket. Some of the meets are in different parks on the same day. And trust me, you won't want to miss a thing!

Where: 4th Floor Observation Deck at the Contemporary Resort

Start MouseFest 2008 off right by meeting fellow MouseForLess members. After meeting on the Observation Deck on the 4th floor of the Contemporary Resort we'll check out the new Bay Lake Towers, the Contemporary Resort's "Holiday Finery" and then we'll proceed to the Polynesian and the Grand Floridian for more of the same.

Time: 10:00 a.m. (or immediately following Deb Wills Safari Meet) - 10:30 a.m.

Join TheMouseForLess and Tagrel as we take Everest to the next Level. Don't miss it! All attendees are requested to get a FASTPASS at 9:00 a.m. and report back at 10:00 a.m. regardless of FASTPASS time.
Magically Speaking's Magic Kingdom Wishes Premium Cruise
Who: Open To All MouseFest Attendees (Must pre-register. Complete Details and Payment info will be supplied upon RSVP. Sorry no walk ups due to limited pontoon capacity.)
Where: Wilderness Lodge Lobby
Time: 7:30 p.m. - Open (when the boat returns to the dock!)
Cost: $39.50 per person (includes tip for boat Captains)

Come join us and view the spectacular Wishes Fireworks from Walt Disney World's Bay Lake and Sevens Seas Lagoon from 25' pontoon boats. We will meet at the seating area in front of the window to the Ole' Faithful at 7:30 p.m. for introductions, then it's off to the dock to board our private pontoon boats at 8:15 p.m. On the Fireworks Cruise we will explore Walt Disney World's Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon, enjoy a close up viewing to the Electrical Water Pageant, learn interesting Disney trivia, and view the Wishes Nighttime Spectacular. Complimentary water/soda and bagged snacks will be available as we cruise on the tranquil water. LIMIT 30 PEOPLE! Get your RSVP in early!

Time: 10:00am-11:00am -- Mega Mouse Meet "Extra MouseFest Hour" (for registered MouseFest attendees)
11:00am – 1:00pm -- Mega Mouse Meet opens to all
Cost: Registration fee (TBD) for "Extra MouseFest Hour"
None after 11:00am

Mega Mouse Meet - A Very Special Event - Disney guidebook authors, web site founders, and members of many Disney fan communities come together at one big gathering! Experience what MouseFest 2008 is all about -- cyberfriends from all over meeting for the first time! This is the perfect place to put faces to the names you may already be familiar with through various Disney-related websites and guidebooks! Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend.

Give Kids The World Meet
Where: Give Kids The World Village
Time: 9:00 a.m. till Noon
Meeting Place: We will meet at the Wal-Mart at 4444 West Vine, Kissimmee, FL 34746 at 9:00 am. At 9:20 am we will caravan to the Village.
Cost: None

Come celebrate MouseFest with us at Give Kids the World Village. We will be delivering the Christmas goody bags that The Mouse For Less group has been compiling, as well as touring the resort. Give Kids The World Village is a non-profit resort that creates magical memories for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. Wish-granting organizations coordinate transportation to Orlando, while Give Kids The World provides accommodations at it's whimsical resort, donated attractions tickets, and meals for a week-long fantasy vacation.
During this visit we will:
Deliver the Christmas "goody bags", made and filled by members of TheMouseForLess group.
Take a magical tour of the Give Kids The World Village. This is something you WON'T want to miss!
NOTE: We don't want anyone to miss this meet because they don't have transportation off-site. We will try to arrange meeting spots and rides for those without cars, but can not guarantee transportation. If you have a car and would be willing to take riders, or would like to join this meet and don't have transportation, let Barb know when you RSVP.

Check back for details on the MouseForLess WORLD DAY events to see if there is one near you! If not, you can volunteer to host a MFL World Day event in your area.
