MouseFest 2006 has come and gone! Each year's MouseFest improves on the last and this year's was no exception! All of our meets were great! We met up with old friends and made new friends. It's what MouseFest is all about!

THURSDAY - DECEMBER 7, 2006
Park Of The Day: Magic Kingdom

Where: Beach Club Entrance. We'll meet in the Courtyard, half way between the lakeside entrance to the Beach Club and the beach.

Mike and Carol for a tour of the Epcot Resorts. We took a
walking tour of the Beach Club, Yacht Club, Swan, Dolphin
and Boardwalk Resorts to view the Holiday decorations.

Time: 10:30 a.m. (or immediately following Deb's Safari meet) to 11:30 a.m.
Cost: Park Admission Only

TheMouseForLess, MouseTunes and RADP joined together to face the Yeti and
conquer the mountain! All attendees were requested to get a FastPass at
9:00 a.m. and report back at 10:30 a.m. regardless of FassPass time.

Time: 7:30 p.m. - Open (when the boat returns to the dock!)
Cost: $30.00 per person and includes 20% tip for the boat captain. Payment MUST be received no later than November 02, 2006 to hold reservation. Mailing and PayPal info will be supplied upon RSVP.

Come join us and view the spectacular Wishes Fireworks from Walt Disney World's Bay Lake and Sevens Seas Lagoon from 25' pontoon boats. We will meet at the seating area in front of the window to the Ole' Faithful at 7:30 p.m. for introductions and mini-games, then it's off to the dock to board our private pontoon boats at 8:15 p.m. On the Fireworks Cruise we will explore Walt Disney World's Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon, enjoy a close up viewing to the Electrical Water Pageant, learn interesting Disney trivia, and view the Wishes Nighttime Spectacular. Complimentary water/soda and bagged snacks will be available as we cruise on the tranquil water. LIMIT 30 PEOPLE Get your RSVP in early!

Mega Mouse Meet - A Very Special Event - Disney guidebook authors, web site founders, and members of many Disney fan communities come together at one big gathering! Experience what MouseFest 2006 is all about -- cyberfriends from all over meeting for the first time! This is the perfect place to put faces to the names you may already be familiar with through various Disney-related websites and guidebooks! Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend.

Where: Give Kids The World Village
Time: 5:30 p.m.
Meeting Place: We will meet at the Wal-Mart at 4444 West Vine, Kissimmee, FL 34746. From here, we will caravan to the Village. Check back for details.

Come celebrate MouseFest and MFL World Day with us at Give Kids the World Village. Give Kids The World Village is a non-profit resort that creates magical memories for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. Wish-granting organizations coordinate transportation to Orlando, while Give Kids The World provides accommodations at it's whimsical resort, donated attractions tickets, and meals for a week-long fantasy vacation.
During this visit we will:
Deliver the Christmas "goody bags", made and filled by members of TheMouseForLess group.
Take a magical tour of the Give Kids The World Village. This is something you WON'T want to miss!
Get an inside peek at the "Shamu Pool Party", held each Monday at the GKTW pool.
Spread a little extra MAGIC. So many GKTW donations are geared more towards younger children and girls. The teenage boys need something of their own and they are always happy to receive (new) BASEBALL CAPS! GKTW could use 75-100 ball caps a MONTH so let's see how many caps we can provide!
NOTE: We don't want anyone to miss this meet because they don't have transportation off-site. We will try to arrange meeting spots and rides for those without cars, but can not guarantee transportation. If you have a car and would be willing to take riders, or would like to join this meet and don't have transportation, let Beccy know when you RSVP.
