Give Kids The World Meet
December 11, 2006
Hosted by Beccy Hosoda

Inside the Castle's Grand Hall, you can rest your head on a "magic mirror" and magically a beautiful crown appears on your head in your reflection. Adler gave it a try but as you can see the crown didn't quite line up on Adler's head. Guess they didn't consider pups wanting to be royalty, too!

Just outside the door to The Castle of Miracles is a beautiful carousel which was brought over from Holland. Kids and adults alike can roll right up onto the back of a turtle or a snail to join in the fun of a good old-fashioned carousel ride. These two animals were uniquely built for special guests in wheelchairs..

The ceiling inside of the Gingerbread House is lined with shelves of dolls. These are all donated by visiting families.

We stopped in the Gingerbread House for a nice dinner (yes, we ate our dessert BEFORE dinner!). Meals are provided by Perkins.

Claytonburg Park of Dreams has this great water-play area!

Happy Hollow Theater is where Shamu dances during the Monday night pool parties.

There's also a window for ordering pizzas!

There is also a pool, complete with a ramp and a plastic wheelchair to give access to those in wheelchairs.

Everything here is done in such a positive way. Notice the POOL RULES sign tells visitors what TO do, not what NOT to do!

As always, we had a wonderful visit to the Village. There was a party going on that night and there was barely room to walk around outside. There was music and dancing... a night full of fun! If you ever get the change to visit, please do. It's something you'll never forget!
