DOUBLE Posts to MFL!
By Michael Boyer - 10/6/2001

I just realized something which I thought I would share with everyone else! Every now and then I'll notice that Replies to DLL posts will come through TWICE! We often blame this on Yahoo or our ISP, BUT I checked something out myself and discovered that this can be caused by clicking on the WRONG Reply button when we send a reply to a post.

Almost all email tools have TWO different Reply buttons(options). One is "Reply to Sender" and the other is "Reply to ALL". The correct Reply button/option to use is the "Reply to Sender". If you hit the "Reply to ALL" button/option, then most email tools will put the MFL address in the To: box TWICE resulting in DOUBLE emails being sent to the list.

If you accidentally hit the "Reply to ALL" button and realize it before sending, simply remove the second MFL address from the To: line before sending and you will be fine!
