Deciphering TheMouseForLess
Poll Voting
By Michael Boyer - 8/10/2001
I haven't done a "Deciphering TheMouseForLess" post for weeks now, but in
doing recent cleanup of the MFL Polls, I came across something I'll bet many
MFL members did not know. YOU CAN CHANGE YOUR MIND!
Yes, up until a poll is "closed" and the results are published, you can go
back and change your vote if you would like. For example, I noticed that 25
members voted in the Ice Station Cool Poll, that they had never been there
and therefore could not render an opinion. Well, when any of those 25
members do go and have sampled all 8 of the beverages, you can come back
home and change your vote to the beverage you liked the most. Simply go to
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/TheMouseForLess/polls, select the poll you are interested in, click on the new item you would like to vote for, and hit "Vote". This will change your existing vote, NOT add a new vote. Each MFL member is entitled to one and only one vote per poll unless the poll has been specially configured to allow more than one choice.
