Disney Favorites Through the Alphabet – “K”

Today, I’m continuing the alphabet with the letter “K”, and this has been the most difficult letter, yet!  I think I have found a few good ones, though, so let’s see what I have found.

Walt Disney World and Disneyland both put so much detail into all of their signs, no matter what the purpose or location is.  I must admit that I love going around and looking at refurbishment walls.  I also have to admit that I love to look at bathroom signs.  {I am so relieved to get that out in the open…}  I even take a few pictures of them.  Why, you might ask?  Well, many of the bathrooms signs are themed to the area that they are located in.  Like an alien on the bathrooms in Tomorrowland (Disneyland) near Space Mountain or…

“Queens” for girls and “Kings” for men near the Alice in Wonderland attraction at Disneyland.  It is fun to take in the differences in each land.

My daughter has almost grown out of character meals; however, both kids have greatly enjoyed them over the years.  After our Disneyland trip in September, we can finally say that we have eaten at every character meal there.  One of the most popular character meals is at Goofy’s Kitchen.  While it is not our favorite character meal, it does have the biggest variety of food.  We also have seen a wide variety of characters there over the years.  One time, we even saw Prince Philip.

The Animal Kingdom Lodge is such an unique resort!  While I do enjoy all of the theme parks at Walt Disney World, I also enjoy just going from resort-to-resort taking in all the different things that each resort has to offer.  During this particular trip, we tried…

Boma for the first time.  It was probably the best breakfast that we had during that trip.

In Norway, Kringla is know for its School Bread.  While I wanted to try School Bread, my kids kept pulling me into the bakery in France…  They kept wanting chocolate croissants.

It is no secret that my favorite resort is the Contemporary Resort.  The sign above says it all!  I love that I can walk my kids to the Magic Kingdom in no time, at all.  Since the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT are their favorite parks, we can walk to Magic Kingdom and monorail to EPCOT very easily.  So cool!
