Disney Dream Part 13 – It’s a Small World Nursery

Disney Cruise Line – Disney Dream It’s a Small World Nursery

All guests on the Disney Dream are given the utmost care, from the youngest to the oldest.  For parents of young children the Disney Dream has It’s a Small World Nursery to take care and entertain the child while the parents have a chance to have some grown up time of their own. It’s a Small World Nursery is a nursery for children ages 3 months to 3 years.  The whimsical design of the nursery was inspired by the classic Disneyland attraction.  This nursery is available at an additional charge.

Once on board, parents can check their personal navigator for operating hours of the nursery.  The nursery is divided into three zones.  The acclimation zone is designed to help youngsters adjust to the nursery.  The main play area has a 3-dimensional façade of the small world attraction that’s filled with interactive features and hidden delights.  There is also a separate room for naps that is quiet and peaceful.

The main play area also includes a boat in the center of the room that “floats” on a river pattern along the soft surface floor and is surrounded by colorful, kid-sized tables and chairs for toddlers to enjoy crafts, books and games.

It’s a Small World Nursery is available at an additional charge and must be reserved in advance.  Disney’s trained counselors will be more than happy to feed the children at It’s a Small World Nursery. Parents should bring baby food, formula, milk and bottles for their child. Additionally, parents are requested to include diapers or pull-ups, diaper wipes, extra clothing and comfort items such as baby blanket and/or pacifier, when dropping off their child.

More pictures of the Disney Dream will be brought to you each day.  Tomorrow we’ll have pictures from the Concierge Family Stateroom with Verandah (category V).
