We wanted to grab a quick ride on our favorites at MGM, so we headed out to IHOP for breakfast (10% off with yesterday’s receipt), then to MGM. We got there about 20 minutes before opening, and that’s when I realized this was the early entry park. Darn! Not what I had planned. Oh well, it can’t be too bad. Wrong! We went directly to ToT & RnRC—both had an hour wait, and Fastpass was after we’d have to leave to go to the airport. So much for those good plans. We just walked around, went back to see where the Osborne Lights would be, then headed to the airport. Amazingly, the cheapest gas we found was on Disney property! Boy, time’s have changed. We arrived at the airport, returned the car quickly, and headed to our gate. After an hour we were loaded and ready to head home. Of course, we left 84 degrees, arriving at 34—not good! My only consolation is that I know I’m going back in a couple of weeks. Guess I can stand the cold, if I stay inside.
This was a great vacation. I would highly recommend the Voyager class ships on Royal Caribbean to anyone. I can’t wait to go back! The food was always good, the desserts had ample chocolate to keep me happy, they had my favorite beverage (love connection/potion/something like that), and the crew were great. Even though the ship was full (3500 passengers 1200 crew) I never felt crowded. It was fun being in port with the Disney Wonder—and when she left our ships honked back and forth. Knowing I was going to be on the Disney Magic in a couple of months is also a great feeling. I do know that the balcony spoiled me, and that will probably be the way to go from now on.
